FE Warren Commissary is a smaller grocery store located on the military base, primarily serving military personnel and veterans. Despite its size, it meets most shoppers' needs with a decent selection of products, including fresh produce and affordable meats, which are significantly cheaper than downtown stores. The store is known for its cleanliness and friendly staff who are always patient, understanding, and willing to help. Several reviews highlight the positive attitude of employees, noting that they remember regular customers and listen to their requests, making shopping a pleasant experience. The store charges a small bag fee of around 4%, and while some produce is priced well, others are not as appealing. The meat section lacks organic options, which some customers find disappointing. Overall, visitors appreciate the savings and the quality of service, describing the staff as fantastic and caring. The store has recently seen improvements, including a larger product selection and a new manager, leading to a more enjoyable shopping experience. Though it is exclusive to military members and veterans, those who shop here often find it to be a better and more affordable alternative to other grocery options in the area.
I think that the prices are very good, and the fruits and veggies 😋 look like they came right out of the fields. It was my first time going there and I went up and down every aisle.
