Staff should be trained not to make promises that cannot deliver. I was charge several overdraft fees. Due to an emergency I requested to have my monthly payment stopped within the time frame they told me. I was told it was and they kept trying to get the money.

My wife and I found out he had basically just transferred our account to himself from our agent in Montana. He was also trying to switch my parents company account. He was told by our agent not to do anything until he talked to us, but he did anyways. It's coming off as very shady like he was just eyeballing the company account for a bigger commission. We will be dropping him as soon as possible and finding a different agent. As well as complaining to State Farm.

I purchased insurance from this company, and there were problems from the very first day. The wrong date was entered for the beginning of coverage and the money was taken out my bank account and not returned to my account. I was told it would be credited later and that it would be reflected in the next bill. It was not, and the next bill was for the full amount. It eventually balanced out, but not without creating a significant hassle for me. Nobody seemed willing to take the initiative to help me and to correct the problem. They seemed content to make mistakes at my expense and then let the faceless, inefficient, system work it out at their leisure.The final problem I had with this company is that I canceled my insurance and they proceeded to charge an additional month's premium and took the money from my bank account. I called them to ask for the money to be credited back to my account, and was told that this could not be done immediately. I was told that I would have to wait to get my own money back - money that should never have been taken out of my account in the first place! I was also told that someone would call me back with a solution to my problem. That was two weeks ago, and no phone call ever came.My experience has given me the impression and personal opinion that professional competency is lacking, as is commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction. Furthermore, my experience indicates to me that if any mistakes are made, they will be handled in a manner with little or no regard for the convenience or satisfaction of the customer. In short, the problem caused to the customer will be handled when and how the company sees fit, regardless of the fact that money was taken from my bank account after I cancelled my policy.This experience and the lack of professionalism and courtesy on the part of the company ensures that I will never again purchase insurance from this company. I encourage those shopping for insurance to look elsewhere.
