910 W River Rd, WorlandJuly 1 at 0930 - called and left a message requesting info on availability. At approximately 1130, I walked into the grooming facility and was able to schedule appointments for both dogs. I asked for deshedding, washing, and cutting for both Australian Shepherds. When we arrived on July 2 at 1:50 pm, the groomer asked what we wanted. I explained we wanted ‘Teddy Bear’ cuts on both dogs, showed her pictures of what I wanted, and even offered instructions if needed. The groomer agreed , took my number, and said she would call when they were don, approx2 hours. At 2:28 p.m., the office called and said they received my request to schedule an appointment (the one I left at 9:30 am. the day before). I explained that our dogs were currently at their facility being groomed. At 2:32 p.m., the office called me again and stated “the groomer is not qualified to perform the cuts on our dogs.” When I asked what happened in the past 40 minutes, the young girl got the groomer on the phone who said that is not a good cut for our dogs and they would not look “puffy” and that she could dished and wash them. I decided not to have my dog done, but asked if they could do my mothers dog with a light trim. She then said my moms dog was “aggressive “ and it would take two of them. This dog has never been aggressive in the 9 years she has had him. We went to the facility to pick the dogs up, and the young girl at the front said my moms dog was “nipping” and “growling “ at them. Since the dog has never been aggressive in the past, we immediately took the dog to the vet to see if something was wrong with her dog. When the vet called the grooming facility to find out what happed, they were told that we showed up “without an appointment “ (I have the appointment card), and that the groomer and my moms dog “didn’t mesh” and were not a good fit. BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE HAD WITH A GROOMING FACILITY! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISHONEST STAFF. A conversation between the person answering the phone and the groomer was overheard by me as the phone was not put on hold, and it was unprofessional and demeaning towards the customer!
UPDATE: The owner called. The dogs were rescheduled, and cuts, nails were done perfectly! There was apparently a misunderstanding, and this owner went above and beyond to make it right!! Thank you Janean and your staff!!

My wife and I had just pulled into Worland Sunday afternoon, we are here upland bird hunting with two French Brittany Spanials, and my female Brittany suddenly had severe abdominal pain 30 minutes after eating. She had rapid breathing, drooling, and was clearly in intense pain. I was panicked and thought she might have a twisted stomach and terrified I could not get her into a vet on a late Sunday afternoon. Remarkably, I called Cloud Peak Vetinarinary Services, left a message on their after hours emergency line and the on-call vet, Dr. Bob, called me back minutes later. To make a long story short, I was in the vet office 20 minutes later and got my Brittany the treatment needed to resolve the situation. Worland is truly blessed to have such an outstanding vetinarinary practice.
