The Western $20 lunch buffet opened at 11:30 AM. Stars of the show were the bison bratwurst and baked beans. The food wasn't amazing but for food inside the park it hits the spot just fine.Parking: Nearest parking for lunch is in Montana.

No better than average which was disappointing in such an iconic location. Food was cold and service left a lot to be desired

Wonderfull place to have dinner, since now the best in Yellowstone.Great food, even the side dishes were really tasty and well cooked.Excellent service and astonishing location.
The menu is varied, offering delicious options for most any taste and budget. The lunchtime Western Buffet is a great value, and quick for those who want to spend most of their day outside. For a more leisurely lunch and dinner, the selection ranges from salads to steaks, and from sandwiches to fresh fish. Dinnertime also includes our signature buffet loaded with favorites including prime rib of beef!
Other Information
A string quartet used to serenade diners here at the restaurant inside what is arguably the most famous inn in the entire National Park Service (and one of the largest log structures in the world). A pianist in the lobby has replaced the quartet, but most of the other details that make dining at Old Faithful a rustically elegant experience remain: the fireplace made from 500 tons of locally quarried rhyolite; hickory chairs and chandeliers; the soaring 76-foot-tall ceiling in the lobby; and Robert C. Reamer's asymmetrical design, which purposefully mimics the chaos of nature. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet-style, with filling fare like corn bread, roast beef, and baked beans. Reservations are required for dinner, which can include offerings such as smoked trout ravioli or locally raised lamb.
