“This hardware store has saved me but I'm also going to leave something that's a little bit nuanced. The light skin / white folk in the area are not racist and they've helped me so much in a great deal. My family's been here for several centuries but from the Indian people in the area and I mean the people from India I'm receiving a utter disdain and I'm constantly being asked why I'm still here. I think all the people from India in this area need inclusion training, it's crazy coming from an American since we're not so positive about it right now. But being a black American the questions I've been being asked by several Indian people in the looks that have been given by them. I've been here far too long to be given those looks. And you've been here far too little time to be so judgmental. Let's all be nice to each other and I should be receiving the same treatment that I give to other people from everybody but especially including people from India.”
