“Southern independent Bank has been my bank since 2009. 15 years I have been with them and I started with a savings account and a few hundred dollars. Since then they have loaned me the money to build my house, helped me start my business as an LLC, rent safety deposit boxes and a personal checking and savings. I have since moved 2.5 hours away and have no Southern Independent Bank local to me since they are a local bank to Covington County. Even though I am 2.5 hrs away I still use them as my primary bank. I still pay all my bills from SIB accounts and ATM cash locally. If I need something larger they will mail me a check or I can transfer it to a local bank where I keep an account open just for that possible need. My point is, in this day and time, you cant find customer service much any more. Well, SIB operates with first class customer service as their norm. It is just the way they do business. Period. I will always bank with them, no matter where I live. Robbin Northey and Brett Ballard are the best but everyone there has always been such a blessing to me and my family.”
