“We had such a wonderful experience purchasing our mattress from Mattress Max, and I can’t say enough great things about the sales manager, Steven Cooper. From the moment we walked in, Steven made us feel completely comfortable—like we were talking to a friend or even a family member. He was incredibly personable, honest, and straightforward, which made the entire process easy and stress-free. There was no pressure at all—just genuine guidance and a real desire to help us find what was best for us. Thanks to Steven, we ended up with an amazing mattress that we are absolutely thrilled with. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does. This experience also reminded us how important it is to shop local. When you support businesses like this—run by people like Steven—you’re not just making a purchase, you’re building a relationship and supporting someone who genuinely values their community. Highly recommend Mattress Max and working with Steven Cooper. We couldn’t be happier!”

“Walking into Havertys wasn’t just a shopping trip for furniture—it was the beginning of a transformation. From the very first moment, Jessica welcomed me with genuine kindness and a sense of care that made me feel like more than just a customer. She didn’t simply ask what I needed; she listened to my vision, my lifestyle, and even the little details that make my home uniquely mine. When I walked in, I only knew what sectional I wanted… not the color, or texture. That’s when Karen stepped in. She spoke about the furniture as if it were art—crafted with intention, designed to inspire, and built to last. She guided me through the process, which felt less buying furniture for my house and more like a gallery of possibilities. Each display sparked ideas, helping me imagine not just how my home could look, but how it could feel—warm, inviting, and truly mine. I ended up purchasing everything I needed for my house. The quality of the pieces is undeniable. Solid wood that felt strong under my hand, fabrics that invited touch, and designs that blended beauty with function. It was clear that every item was chosen with care, not just to sell me a product and fill a space, but to bring life to it. A big thanks to Jessica, and Karen! The staff at Havertys reminded me that our surroundings shape our lives. The right pieces don’t just decorate a room—they inspire us, comfort us, and reflect who we are. I left not only with the satisfaction of purchasing beautiful furniture, but with a renewed appreciation for the spaces we call home. If you’re looking for more than just a purchase—if you want to create a home that tells your story—this is the place to begin.”

“My wife and I first went to our local mattress firm in Oxford about an hour from home back in January just to get an idea of pricing and try out a few mattresses. We really had no clue what we wanted, but after talking with Jordan we both agreed on one thing. Whenever we were ready to buy, we wanted to buy one from him. We never felt rushed or pressured and he answered every question we had and explained everything. Our plans were to come back during the Presidents Day sale but life happened and we never made it back. Fast forward to July and we finally decided it was time to replace our old $400 Amazon special. It definitely was not a ten year mattress. No matter how many times we flipped it, flopped it, or turned it. So when we pulled into the parking lot i recognized the car and was glad to see Jordan was still there. We ended up picking out a completely different mattress than we had looked at back in January even though it was only about an hour before closing, he still took his tim, answered every question, and made sure we were as knowledgeable as we could be. He helped us get what we feel was a great deal on a new mattress and gancy base. If you are looking for a new mattress I would absolutely recommend stopping by the Oxford store and asking for Jordan. Good customer service is getting harder to find these days and he is one of the best.”
