Plato's Closet - Auburn, AL is a popular destination for buying and selling gently used teen apparel and accessories. The store offers a wide selection of clothing, including sweats, hoodies, shorts, and t-shirts, catering primarily to those between small and large sizes. While the clothes are generally considered cute, some customers have noted that the store's inventory leans heavily towards fast-fashion brands like Shein and Forever 21, which may be available for cheaper elsewhere. The customer experience at Plato's Closet - Auburn, AL has been mixed. Some reviewers had a good experience, with one mentioning that they found shoes for themselves and that the checkout process was typical for a store with teenage employees. However, others have reported that the employees were not particularly friendly, constantly bombarding customers and asking if they needed help, even in a thrift store setting where customers may prefer to browse independently. The store's layout has also been a point of discussion, with one reviewer noting that the space is cramped and the high foot traffic suggests a need for expansion. On a positive note, one customer, a self-described "Sneaker Head," found the prices at this Plato's Closet location to be significantly cheaper than other branches, making it a great place to find size 12 shoes.
don’t sell your clothes to them. return them if they still have tags cause they offered me 3.53 for a brand new almost 40 dollar shirt. didn’t want anything else that was used, so I gladly took the whole bag and that shirt back. unfortunate for them.

Good selection however egregious pricing and buying offers :/ I can respect a hustle but atleast take the tag off if you’re going to charge more for an item than it was originally produced

All of the girls that work here need a reality check and an attitude adjustment soooo bad. Had the “pleasure” of dealing with Kayla N. Not nice at all. I would stop coming here but all the other thrift stores around are trash too.
