Came to the Summit location specifically to go to this store. I really love their clothes and accessories but got there at 10:30am on a Wednesday (it opens at 10am) and the doors were locked. I called and was answered and was informed they were doing inventory so they were closed until probably 11 she said. No sign no nothing on the front. I get needing to do that occasionally but with no sign out it’s frustrating. Then I come back around 11 and still not open. Does not give me a good feeling about customer service at this place.

My mother and I visited Wednesday April 24 after her appointment at UAB. Soon as we entered the store, we weren’t greeted. There was an air of uncomfortableness. I had my hands full and saw a young lady, who later was my rude cashier, that I asked if I could have the clothes taken to a room or even leave at the register. She seemed agitated, rudely asked if I had been told about the six items policy and told me just a minute. When she got back to me, I said I’d keep a couple of clearance T-shirts out that I knew would fit. She said nothing and just took the clothes to a dressing room.
There was a customer waiting for a dressing room beside me who said no one had helped her and she had no idea what to do.
Once I was in line to checkout, the store still had two minutes till closing, and you could tell the two young ladies working were chompin at the bit to get all of the customers out.
My cashier was SO rude in being unwelcoming, quickly wrapping all of my items and when she barely spoke my total of over $300, I was shocked at the amount and her consistent attitude.
My mother was in shock as well because I later found out that as she went back to a dressing room to try on a blouse, the other employee said, “We close in two minutes” after asking my mom if a dress hanging there was hers (it wasn’t).
When I got to the door to leave, with it being held open by the employee who told my mom about closing time (yeah we ALL knew in the store), I told that slightly less rude employee that I preferred to ask her about my total since my cashier was so rude. She casually apologized and explained store BOGO 50% policies.
I haven’t even mentioned that when I had previously asked if there was an XL in a Joshua Tree cropped shirt hanging high on a rack, she said she was pretty sure there were just mediums. She didn’t even ATTEMPT to look.
Having been in client relations and owning my own business for over 20 years, me and my mother were extremely disappointed.
Next door at Anthro was an entirely different situation and everyone was kind.
Please get these employees additional training. Especially on how to be kind. And that the retail store isn’t putting vibes out about store closure until it’s closing time.
There are so many more minute details that add to the big picture of how bad of a visit this was, but in minute details are perceptions. And even apart from clear bad customer service skills is perception in the small things and even those things were bad.

This place is NOT worth the money. I bought a sweater during the BOGO FREE sweaters during the holidays and both of them have completely fallen apart. One has unraveled at the seam. I paid $80 for my sweater and I expect it to be at least good quality, but it reminds me of SHEIN. Probably bought from SHEIN in the first place. Do NOT waste your money.

Rosa is rude , heartless and need some customer service training, I returned a 8.00 air fresher, I stated to her I will pay the difference for some else because it doesn’t have a smell, she looked at me and stated call customer service it nothing I can do about it, I can’t return it very rudely. So I explained to another associate what happened, she had tears in her eyes she felt so bad how I was done, she corrected my issue very professional, thank you.

Adorable boutique with a strong Christian background. They keep up with trends very well. There have been an influx of people loving the cowgirl and Nashville style, Altar'd State has clothing boots and everything to match that style. We came in knowing they were having a sale. The sale section is in the back but it has a lot of different items for each size. I winded up purchasing a dress that I am planning on wearing for an event I have upcoming this week. I was super happy with my purchase. I love this store and will continue to support it.

This isn't for the location in particular its just in regards to the brand itself. I went there and spend nearly $500 for maybe 8 items. If that. When I got home I noticed the dress was stitched incorrectly, leaving the dress sitting in an unflattering manner. The skirt I bought was ripped, I guess I didn't think to check for rips. The shirt I bought was so thin that it was entirely see thru. I think if you are spending $50+ for a single top, or $100 for a single dress, that item should be high quality. Unfortunately this is just not the case. I wouldn't recommend.

The customer service is Outstanding! The most honest and truthful ladies I have seen in any retail store. Major Respect for the assistant manager, Josie (and I hope I’m spelling her name correctly). I came in to buy Sanctuary and she informed me that unfortunately a woman had come in and bought all of the bottles for they had just went on sale. She then guided me to hopefully find travel size. She told me they were on promotion so I agreed to buy them on promotion. When we went to the counter to ring it up the promotion had already past and she was not updated on it. She then apologized and said she lied to me not knowingly. I was ok with still purchasing two and she insisted that since she lied she had to honor her word. The INTEGRITY she showed makes me want to shop at that store only. It is very rare to see that nowadays.

Likely fine for people with the chosen body shape, but for a tall, thin person ~ nope. (And we're talking daughter, not me.) Lights in dressing room don't work. Best not to trust decisions made in the dark! On the plus side ~ the store smells great!
