Run from America's Worst. They added a $4,615 fee to my auto loan. I paid the entire loan in 3 months just to get away from this terrible company. Evem though I paid the entire balance in 3 months they would not remove the $4,615 charge. (They said my insurance deductible was too high) $4,615 sounds like a lot for 3 months of insurance I didn't ask for or need. Hopefully the jury will agree. I gave them 1 star because 0 stars was not an option. The customer service was also a nightmare. Minimum hold time of 30 minutes. Their app is a joke. Go anywhere else.

I do not like this bank for multiple reasons. They do not answer the phone at all, terrible service when it comes to cash and checks.. go to another bank, don't do this one.

By far one of the worst credit unions to bank with. No one can tell me why my debit card dosent work & I have money in the ban. The debit card manager AMY is very rude & unpt as they all are here at AM FIRST

This Branch of Hwy 280 doesn't deserve 1 star after being turned away today! Im a disabled Veteran with a small dog I have in a bagfor my anixty she is 8 pounds because on my PTSD I received after a 22 day comma while in the Army back in 99.I (WAS)going to open a checking account were all my disability benefits would go to so I could easily pay my car but being turned away make me think how little this place cares about Veterans needs.someone should get fired for making me go through this having to go to a different Americas 1st location were me being disabled isn't a problem.

I visited the America's First Federal CU on Parkway East (crow dr?) and spoke with Courtney. She provided excellent service. She mad sure I felt comfortable asking questions and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. It was a great visit and it made me happy with my banking decisions.

This bank location has gone down hill in the last year. I am sick of going through the drive thru to deposit a check only to have to call them back to undo the incorrect deposit. Once an entire zero was left off. I am also fed up with the lack of managerial staff. If transactions need manager’s signatures, they need to be there to sign. I was told “no one is here” for the millionth time today, so I drove all the way to Vestavia. Same issue but the young lady picked up the phone and had my check deposited in minutes... the same thing the teller at Inverness could have done. I’m about done with this bunch.

Until recently everyone at this branch has always gone above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer. I liked going there because they knew me and greeted me by name. I’ve dealt with Geri several times and her lack of friendliness and willingness to help is not what I’ve grown accustomed to with this branch. I’m not sure if it’s under new management but the customer service has definitely declined lately.

My parents have been a member of the Talladega branch for 20+ years. Recently while my dad had been very sick and required surgery, someone was able to obtain their card info and stole $1400 from their account. They will not refund my parents money because the said they think my parents did it. My parents are on a fixed income and $1400 is a lot of money. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves not wanting to refund the money back on a 20+ year member. I'll make sure everyone I know doesn't bank with y'all. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Edit: I did have a representative reach out to me and listen to me about what happened. Very nice man who I spoke too. He was very sincere and apologized for the experience I had. This meant a lot to me. One thing to add that upset me, apparently my checks were returned on the 17th but again I was not called or notified in anyway for some reason.
