September 2025 by Will Ferniany
On September 15, 16 and 18 we moved into anew house in a city 90 miles from us. This was a complicated and difficult move - out of one house, out of a house in storage to one location with 2 structures. What is more some things went in each structure, some went to be sold and some were shipped to my daughter. The whole team Armstrong sent was great. They worked hard, were very fun to be with, very responsive. I especially want to call out Eugene for his leadership of the team. PS this is third time we have used Armstrong and have always been pleased.

I used the Armstrong Company located in Birmingham AL to move my mother‘s heirloom dining room suite from Birmingham to Seattle. The furniture had been in pristine condition, however upon delivery, there was significant damage to the buffet. I was told by the delivery crew that the crated buffet had been put into a container that was too small, the crate was crushed and resulted in damage to the buffet. The right front corner of the buffet was severely scratched with missing paint and three of the buffet doors no longer closed correctly because the hardware had been damaged. I filed a claim with their insurance carrier United. Initially, United Claims selected a company in Tacoma to do the repairs however I was unfamiliar with this company. Rather I wanted to use a company in Seattle that I had hired previously and was familiar with their work. United Claims apparently only wanted me to use the company they selected. Initially I was only offered $800 which would not cover the cost of necessary repairs. A week later, I received a letter from United denying my claim because they claimed the damages existed prior to the move. This is an absolute lie. They falsified documents. I do not recommend this company. Poor customer service. Falsification of documents. I paid $8000 to move the dining room suite from Birmingham to Seattle and the value of the furniture was $30,000. I had $10,000 in insurance coverage.

RUN-Armstrong assigned several people, quoter, biller, mover, another company to delivery furniture. RUN- VP Bus. manager not Truthful, Deceitful and Rude. Sales's person had no respect for the customers concerns. They don't listen, don't return calls, never follow up. United Van line referred you to this company and take no responsibility for there Service. Don't call call customer service or Account Receivable person It's a JOKE! Quote was one amount bill was wave more than quoted and you are "SURPRISED" with an additional bill. NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMER and never return calls. The same for United Van line, Account receivable person was rude and didn't want to hear your concerns (Just pay). Customer Service is a JOKE! RUN RUN RUN!!!

I called Susanna Moore to renew my quote from a few months ago. She answered the phone with a very defensive and incredibly rude tone the second I called. She immediately picked up the phone and said, "yes, hello!" in a rough and annoyed tone. "Who is this!? she exclaimed after I stated my name. I politely explained that I would like to proceed with a quote that I received back in February since the 30 day window expired. She said "so ya' lookin' to move forward or what!? I've got about 10 different things going on right now". I have never been spoken to with so much disrespect by a sales representative. I left that conversation feeling so disrespected and honestly... hurt. I understand that we all have tough days and sometimes work can be overwhelming, but this is no way to conduct business. I booked another moving company and will be blocking her number and email address.

I do not recommend this company for relocating anyone. They showed up late every day and left early, which resulted in a major time crunch and rushing on the very last loading day, in which we had a deadline to meet and needed to leave town. They dropped an entire cabinet shelf of spices on our stove and broke it- which they did replace. They wrote up that nearly every piece of furniture we own was damaged in some way or another then argued and got impatient when we were hesitant on signing off that our furniture was "predamaged", I'm positive that is to cover themselves when they damage your property. We opened boxes to many broken items, and I'm nervous to see what our Christmas decoration damage will be. The demolished a table, and we have a mysterious chip of paint in my brand new car from the day they rushed our unload in our driveway and were quickly maneuvering around it. This company is majorly disappointing.

These people were hired to move students out of a residence hall at UAB and they showed no care towards my things and threw them in boxes with no rhyme or reason along with trash and now I have broken dishes and a crumpled certificate and wrinkled posters that I have had for years and I am incredibly upset with the treatment given. Be on alert if you are not directly involved with them moving you, because they have ruined things that had no reason to be ruined.

They were just eager to help with whatever we needed. It was clear to me that this company has created a culture in which their employees are extremely proud to represent their brand and do it very well.Without question, I would not only recommend Armstrong Relocation, I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks for the great serving Armstrong Relocation!#customerserviceexcellence
