I have lived here for 4 months and have never been happier with an apartment complex. The apartment is huge for a 1 bedroom. I have washer and dryer connections, a built-in microwave, and an ice maker as well. We have valet garbage. Just set your garbage cans outside your door, and after a while, you will have an empty can to bring in. Rent is very reasonable. There is an exercise room which you can use for free (no more gym fees). Each apartment has its own Wi-Fi system. If you are looking for a great place to live, this is it.

As I look over the review all our experiences are so similar SAD! I recently applied to this apartment complex and I was supposed to move in on Friday. I was sent my lease before I even view the apartment the property manager told me that the carpet was being clean on that Thursday evening, so on Friday when I signed my lease gave them the prorated rent and receive my keys as I went up to see my apartment for the first time to say disappointment is a understatement. I have never had a smell. Immediately when you open the door I wasn’t sure what smell was so I continue to walk around the apartment and it was no way that this Apartment was move -in ready I spoke with the young lady in the office. She came back up with me. She agreed that it was a horrible smell in there and that she was going to speak with the manager and to send an email of the list of things that need to fixed later that Friday night I was just bothered about exactly what that smell was and being that my kids has asthma so I took my brother over to kind of check it out and manager got smart when I told her that but we was trying to see and we stumble upon a lot of things. The vent looks like it never been changed. It looks like the hot water heater or something caught on fire and also under the carpet was mold so by Monday morning I’m calling saying that look I never moved in. I just wanna part ways I don’t want to move in just return my money the manager when I say unprofessional and have the smartest mouth told me she cannot do that. I explained to her my reason she said well I asked her is no way possible that you did a walk-through after your contractor supposedly fixed this apartment she admitted that she DID NOT so at this point the relationship was in the air so I can’t trust her at all to fix anything she called back to tell me that she will give me my full refund great say less I’m on the way upon arriving at the leasing office I did think it was quite odd that they was giving me the exact same money orders I signed a paper saying that they gave me my money back to receive a phone call today to say that they would have to issue me a check within six weeks what??? because those money orders was already been cashed . I told them that does not make any sense and at that moment, I knew what type of people that i was dealing with they are cons and I do believe from the previous reviews that they do take people money some of the ladies in the office I have one lady that I did have a pleasant experience with the last two that I encounter was terrible so I looked into this a lil further , and I spoke with the local authorities, and that is very much so illegal to return money orders that you already cashed . I have reached out to the corporate office and different other places to inform them the type of situation is going on there and just to ensure that no one have to go through this. I have two kids. I’m living in a hotel. And it’s a holiday season and they won’t give me my money until six weeks. I don’t take those type of losses. And I’m gonna continue to make sure that this won’t happen to no one else the corporate office need to get a new lease agents and a new manager as well. People work too hard to just live pay for anything that you’re not comfortable. I definitely think they gave me those money orders that was already cash on purpose. It was definitely a malicious intent. So this review is for those and if you gonna go this route with these people make sure please make sure you have your copies of the money order don’t let them fill it in or anything because I deafly will play with people money. And it’s not even a One start I just can’t leave a zero.

Pros Cheap.Cons horrible staff that call you constantly about payment issues although you hand them a money order. They lie about you making a payment when you prove it with receipts they brush it off as no issue. I don't think it's the management staff but they make mistakes constantly and the owner is making them put notices on doors preemptively and premature for rent issues. The owner doesn't fix anything nor do they maintain the apts. We couldn't access the online portal for more than a year to put in work orders and had to call 4-5 times to get anything fixed which wasn't fixed correctly. We lived above an apt full of black mold and more wholes than swiss cheese which cause our power bill to be 3x the amount it should be. They refused to fix anything when a complaint was called in on another neighbor. Multiple times there were fires and I had to call the police on people firing off fireworks and being extremely loud at 2am-4am. I was woken up multiple times by people. They went through 4 owners in the two years we lived here and raised the rent up multiple times from a burst pipe on their own property and we ended up paying for it. We had to live through multiple constructions which led to nothing being done except stuff being torn out and garbage everywhere. They wouldn't clean anything outside ever along with trash being thrown all over the place. We had multiple leaks from above us which were never corrected and continued the mold problem which they just painted over which ended up making the paint flake over all the place. They never sprayed for bugs ever we had to call multiple times to have a bug person come over and spray. When we moved in the apt had trash all over the place and wasn't fixed up at all. Multiple holes in the walls and trash all over the place and the floors were turn up from a previous tenant.Lesson is don't move here at all. At time of writing this review they are not up to a livable standard and should be reported for the continued mold issue. These places are not worth the cost. This could change if they would fix the glaring issues. Save the money and buy a house and don't move here and waste your money.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed. I had a renovated apartment which I thought would be on the side that was advertised but ended up in the old roach infested Watertown lodge building. Only thing nice about the apartment was the marble floors. Week one my closet sliding door broke (never came to fix) my base boards were put together with cheap glue ( & the tissue holders )which start falling apart a month of staying there, the pool never opened, they did construction by my apartment and there crew NEVER cleaned up after! Trash pick up was never consistent which cause stray animals to tear trash constantly, my apartment had a terrible black mold problem instead of treating it they threw paint over it, my water heater wasn’t installed properly which cause it to leak through the walls and floors. In my 1 year of staying my toilet stopped working 6 times and on top of all that they tried to up the rent by $150! Ladies in office have bad attitudes besides (Asia)! My bathroom had a leak above the shower no one ever came out to look at!

Do not rent here they will not fix anything my friend has breathing problems and there is black mold in there apartment there is proof that they got there work order and refuse to do anything about it they will ignore there people when things need to be fix you're better off renting somewhere else

I have been living at Ascot Place Apartments for 2 years and in two years we have lived in awful condition with awful management. I will be moving out of here next month in September. My plan was to leave here respectfully and quietly but they chose violence so I'm going to tell my story on good ole Ascot Place and the people that work here and own this place. Today we were informed that because their new hire messed up and lost the rent that we paid on time and have always paid on time every month for 2 years straight, they want us to pay them again and our rent for our final month here. So you telling me because yall lost the money we handed to you we have to pay again?! Yeah no! We got documentation on that money order you were handed including bank statements, and notarized evidence that we have paid. You will not get a dime for us and will only be receiving the money for our final rent payment. Like I said let's talk about the holes in the walls that rats have chewed through and you guys didn't fix and I reported and yall brushed off, let's talk about the mold in the vents that we constantly breath in and you guys don't fix, let's talk about the dirty air filters you guys refuse to change out, let's talk about the carpet that wasn't cleaned and torn up that wasn't fixed well before we moved in, let's talk about the dry rot from the water damage in our cabinets you guys won't fix, let's talk about the water damage in the ceiling you guys won't fix, let's talk about how the dish washer constantly over flows and leaks we have called multiple times about and you guys do nothing about it because your maintenance men told us all the apartments piping are connected which means the water that's flooding up is probably from another unit, let's talk about how water over flows through our pipes into our drains and comes out into our sinks, let's talk about the roach and gnat problems you guys do nothing about even though we have reported it and have had to get professional to come handle it and we still have a gnat issue due to the bad pipes, let's talk about how my closet doors are both offset and don't close all the way even though I put a work order in for it, oh and let's talk about how the isles on the stove aren't leveled so if we cook on them everything leans and slides, let's talk about the whole in the floor you guys put in our bathroom and we can see into the apartment downstairs and we have reported it and till this day nothing has been done. Oh I can get even more petty because our oven light doesn't work, closet light doesn't work and the over head light over the sink in the kitchen doesn't work that you guys won't fix. Let's talk about how our power bill is outrageous because we can still see outside even through our front door is closed and all the air escapes causing the A/C and or heat to work harder and pull more power. I'M NOT DONE YET! Let's talk about how you did nothing about the upstairs neighbors no matter how many times we reported it because they kept throwing stuff on our balcony oh and not to mention the huge hole they burned into their balcony and you allowed new tenants to move into that hot mess. Lastly let's talk about the horrible swimming pool that you guys fail to clean and close off it's infested and toxic and we breath that in every day. You can literally smell it. It's full of trash and God knows what else, and when it rains you can fine tons of frogs in it. It literally has its own ecosystem but you guys don't even care. I DOCUMENT EVERYTHING and have even had that water in that pool tested so please try me with that bull crap about us paying extra rent because you lost it. I'm ready to layer up you just say the word because everything I just named here cost way more to fix then that rent you are trying to steal from us. I had the best experience ever at Ascot. I first called and talked to Julia Mendez and she was so helpful and made me feel so comfortable. I went in for a showing and did a tour with Ajah. She was amazing I would move in right away but I don’t need an apartment until October. I will definitely put an application in.

This is the worst place to live!! Rent goes up over $130 after a year. Cars broken into, holes in the streets, pool has been broken over a year!! I can’t wait to move out!!!! The office team is a wonderful set of ppl that do what they can!! It's the owners that should be ashamed!!!!

Horrible roaches .... Trash everywhere they go up on rent about $140 after a year... People in the office play games financially I think they are finding a way to steal money I was in the office and overheard them tell one person a certain price for unit and then another person a different price not to mention that they say they have cameras but the cameras are outdated and don't work and my $40,000 vehicle was broken into along with several others and nothing was done about it they didn't even come clean up the glass in front of my apartment the next couple of days

Ascot Place has to be the most unprofessional apartment complex to live in. The workers in the office are very rude. The maintenance men ride around on golf carts all day not fixing anything, there is a rat in my apartment and Ascot Place claims to have pest control but they dont. The run down apartments are still as high as the newer ones but they have nothing to show for it. THESE APARTMENTS ARE NOT WORTH $1000. If you want a nice place to stay, I recommend moving elsewhere, Ascot Place sucks.

DONT NOT APPLY. Folks at the front desk think they slick and will try to switch your apartment multiple times and have terrible communication and service but when you get on their level they want to act offended. I didn’t even get in my apartment yet and I’m already getting my refund because they changed my move in date 3x and my apartment twice.

They won't fix anything, and the staff is non effective. All they want is rent and you're basically on your own. Bugs everywhere, trash everywhere and maintenance is nowhere to be found unless you catch them trying to walk in your apartment like I did.
