AT&T - Wildwood Store - Birmingham, AL
All of the employees are awesome! The store is fully staffed. The staff is polite, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They genuinely try to save you money. They greet you, immediately. If you have to wait a few minutes, it is because they make sure each customer gets the time and attention he/she deserves. They apologize for the few minutes you have to wait. I have always had excellent experiences at this store; I visit the store, quarterly. Excellent customer service is extremely rare these days. I appreciate the excellent customer service at AT&T.

We could never get customer service to answer the phone. Held the line over an hour. Still no reply. Representive was unable to assist with the problem in store.

This store is terrible. My parent went in to replace their broken phone and the service rep not only upgraded his phone, which was the right thing to do, but also added a whole new phone line to the bill and did not tell them, which is the wrong thing to do and is essentially fraud. I pay the phone bill and have been trying to get this fixed, and I won't bore you with all the hoops i've had to jump through, but I will say that Anthony, the store manager, and Eric and Adam, the supervisors, do not show up for work so I've had to call AT&T and wait to get all this fixed, which I am still not confident that it is. I would avoid this store if possible. Go to a different AT&T store where hopefully you will find more competent people.

My experience at this store was great. I received the very best service from the manager greeting me and others and turning me over into the very capable hands of Mr. TQ Richardson, my Retail Sales Consultant.

John was our tech today and he was very patient, knowledgable and professional. The problems we were dealing with was with another provider and John was unwavering in his approach to get the problem resolved.
I have been to this store on Lakeshore a few times and they have always been very helpful.

What should have been a simple transaction to get my wife a phone for her birthday, turned into a three ring financial circus where we were either deliberately scammed or highly inept employees in the store were given our account information who had no business dealing with it. Either way- the results garnered a big fat F in the school of basic customer service and satisfaction.
Multiple promises and commitments were broken, added expenses for a phone line which was never requested were charged to us, the phone which was “supposedly held” was sold (to an employes) before the agreed upon pick up date and not a manager down there acted like they had any authority (whatsoever) when it came to reversing bogus charges their employees keyed in against our account.
After mutiple calls (and long waits) to the AT&T customer service line, we finally got the trumped up bogus charges removed. Not before they indicated these erroneous charges had been assigned by an employee from the store who was intent on boosting their sales numbers.
My wife had been reluctant to upgrade her phone for years (due to reasons like those listed above) and the employees of this store made sure to validate everyone of her reasons one by one by one.
What a poor excuse for a business model. Where is the negative star symbol? That is the one you earned.

I came inside the store because I was directed to go to a corporate location to update a sim because my phone is broken I was told my the manager black guy with tattoos that he can’t give me a sim with the phone being present & when he validated my account.
