Picked up cat food using a prescription and received the coupons to use later. Place was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. It was my first time taking a pet in just 2 shop not for an appointmints little bits like kitty enjoyed his enjoyed his short visit there.

Whatever you do, do not get the wellness plan. It’s a scam. They tell you, you get free visits but when you try to cancel the plan they ask for you to pay back for the services. That’s not a a insurance plan. It’s false advertisement. I wish someone would have told me that before I signed up.

They use to be good but they have become terrible. They are always over booked. The service and care of the animals has gone downhill. I have their wellness plan which includes free offices visit for two years but when my pet needs to be seen because he'ssick, they are always over booked and I end up having to pay to take them to another vet. The last time I called they lady I spoke to was incredibly rude and uncaring. I used to love this place and the staff was always friendly and helpful but that has definitely changed. I will no longer be recommending them .

Will not be taking my dogs back to this location. Was not told or made aware that they needed a second shot for the flu vaccine three weeks after the first. Now the boarding place will not take my dogs when I have a wedding to attend for my family this weekend. My husband called to see if they could get us in same day to get the vaccine to still take them to the boarding place and they laughed at him on the phone. Terrible customer service. Hoover location is much better!

What should have taken an hour for my dog somehow took 6.5 hours. Every time I called up there they told me that it was going to be another hour. I finally had to just drive up there on my own and demand they give me my dog back. Their so called wellness plans are a joke. I can't tell where I've actually ever saved any money by having it. After my dog's leg issue is resolved I will be looking for a new vet office.

My husband took our dog to see the vet yesterday because her vet couldn’t see her. We thought she had a uti. She is not able walk good because of arthritis. They wanted to walk her to see if they could get a specimen. Her regular vet does not have to do this. They told my husband she has a small opening they couldn’t catch her pee. Now how do they know they didn’t check.Here goes my husband telling them just give my baby to me . Never ever will go back!!

If I could give this Banfield a 10 star review, I certainly would. We are full-time rv'ers traveling this beautiful country with our 15 year old Yorkie. During our travels these past 3 years we've had way too many occurences to utilize the Banfield Wellness plan, but at least we've been able to find a nearby location when we needed them.Over the past couple of months Cosmo (our Yorkie) had developed a lump under the skin on his neck. At a couple of prior Banfields we did the antibiotics, pains pills, aspiration of the lump etc, but it was still a problem.Then we met Dr Elkin & Meghan the vet tech at this location. They are, as well as the rest of the crew we worked with, absolutely amazing. After doing her due diligence, blood work, x-rays she gave us options and we went with the surgical removal. Dr Elkin & Meghan were so friendly, informative, patient with us and gave us the confidence to go with the surgery for our old man. Using anesthesia at this age is an added risk.They kept us updated with his status and we couldn't be more thrilled with how he is doing.Thank you to the staff at the Birmingham/Trussville Banfield and a very special thank you to Dr Elkin & Meghan!!! You guys rock. ??

We enjoy going in and looking at the cats they have in the store. They always seem to have a clean, friendly environment. The prices are very high for for food and other pet supplies, compared to Target and Walmart.
