Would give this company zero stars if it were possible. Sad that CB&S has gone out of their way to make absolutely SURE the public knows that their branches were closed on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day to also honor Robert E. Lee. How low do the company's morals need to be to blatantly disrespect a holiday that has been established for almost 40 years, by honoring a confederate military general who advocated for slavery on the holiday that was dedicated to a man of color who died in the name of Civil Rights? That's pretty disgusting. Times have changed; it's 2023, we should be past this. It's tired, petty, well-worn territory. Get with the program.

I have been a happy customer for over 10 years and I live out of state. I recently moved and was told the only way to change my address was to come into the branch. I was told this is a new policy. I explained that I live out of state and that I cannot simply come into the branch. After being reassured by multiple people on multiple days that there is no other way, I am being forced to cancel my account. There has to be a secure way to do this and if the technology isn't being invested in, perhaps this is a good move. Just a bummer.

I have had a horrible experience with CB&S Bank in Hoover. I had several fraudulent charges on my card as well as over draft fees because of them. I met with the Branch Operations Specialist at Hoover and she told me that my over draft fees would be removed and my money would be refunded from the fraudulent charges. That has obviously still not happened. I tried to get in touch with the branch operations manager 5 times because she gave me her card and told me to call her anytime. I have left her several voicemails and sent her emails and she has still not responded. Even customer service wasn’t able to get ahold of her. I will be paying my over draft fees and will lose my money from the fraudulent charges just so I can close my account with this bank. Horrible service, do not recommend.
