Called to ask if they could request my dads refill because as I was driving in to bhm to care for him he stated that he was in pain but that his prescription needed to be refilled - I received the most humiliating and most ghetto response from the guy tech there “I ain’t requesting no narcotic”. Instead of him advising me that I needed to make my request for a refill directly to my Dads Drs office, being that it was a narcotic. After I requested a refill from the drs office, I called back to the cvs to verify that they had received the prescription. Was told they’ll be ready by 6:30. I get there at 7pm because I was driving in from out of state; (website says they close at 8pm) the tech guy says “ well i don’t know what to tell you to do we close at 7 and I can’t ring up anything.”
If you know that you have conflicting information on your website please let customers know your closing time. Everyone that’s calling doesn’t live in that neighborhood & we can only go off what your website says. It was really frustrating to not be able to assist my Dad with the one thing he asked me to help out with.
Additionally, just because you’re working in the hood doesn’t mean you can’t be a professional and go the extra mile for your customers.
Update- the Dr changed my dads dosage- went to pick it up & the pharmacist told me it might take 3-4 hours to fill- then stated he’s trying to decide whether or not he’s going to fill it at all because Dad had a prescription filled 10 days ago. I explained why there was a change yet he called the doctor that prescribed it ( as if I was making it up) the Dr told him the exact same thing and he filled it right away. I am so thankful that I switched my Dad from this pharmacy! No one deserves to be treated like a criminal due to a change in medication especially not our Veterans that are ill due to serving their country. This pharmacy doesn’t deserve any stars!

Online hours say 8-8..same on door. But they're closed. Lady came to door when someone went out. But she said nothing. Even another person who walked up and couldn't get in was confused. Businesses need to be made to keep they're times updated... unacceptable. Person after person expects them to be open. Only to be surprised they're not. 4.1.25

With all due respect I experienced great customer service I mean excellent customer service from a young lady on yesterday that made me feel welcomed and appreciated and decided I’ll make this my home store but the two stars are for the CVS CORPORATION as a company! Not the employees!
The store employees gets 9/10 or 5 stars for just doing what everyone who works in retail should do….. show respect and ask if there’s anything I could help you with today❤️ and since they didn’t have the headache medicine I wanted (and the prices were higher than usual also) she said I apologize and I hope you come again❤️ and made sure I heard her and I believe she actually meant it…..
Before I post any (picturessssssssss) and A 9mins 23secs video recording I’m willing to allow someone with CVS Executive Management or Management in the Alabama region to contact me within two weeks to resolve a Major Issue that occurred while trying to be a good CVS cares member and leave a detailed review (which was positive and honest until…..) before I post screenshots and screen recordings about my traumatizing experience while participating in a online review about my experience at my local CVS store.
I’m beyond shocked and embarrassed by this horrible and misleading experience that happened on today Dec. 4, 2025. I sincerely hope I’m contacted ASAP!!! It’s my desire to communicate with management to resolve the issue before it becomes public information first and/or I’m forced with having no other options by CVS lack of communication and careless respect for me as a long and faithful customer to resolve this issue by legal means and public exposure as a final resolution; as a disabled individual I’m hopeful that this will be addressed without causing me anymore distress, embarrassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress!!! Out of the hope to resolve this issue with dialogue I’ll allow time before releasing any video or pictures if the lack of communication meaning engagement doesn't take place within two weeks I will take the well earned legal route CVS earned on today. If need contact info PLEASE let me know ASAP…..

CVS is the worst. I have been trying to get my prescription sent to Walgreens but they say the fax machine down. He will call over there. This is the second day and he still saying the same thing at 12:30!!! It started yesterday at 10a.m. I could be dead waiting on them…..

Awful service I put in a refill for Zofran on Friday I called to see when it was gon be ready Saturday at 3:30 I was told that the meds weren’t going to ready till Monday at 12 p.m I needed the meds because I’m pregnant Luckily I had promethazine to take I don’t like taking it cause it puts me to sleep but shame on the pharmacist I asked could an exception be made Brad told me no they were backed up IT TAKES 2 DAYS TO GET A PRESCRIPTION REFILLED JUST SAD what if I didn’t have anything to take and ended up in the hospital dehydrated cause these unprofessional employees can’t empathize Just sad and unprofessional I called and did a complaint and I’m going to make sure corrective action is taken I also filed a complaint with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy

Today is December 4th 2023 and it’s 8:43 a.m and this location is not open yet supposedly it’s a high crime area the door is busted up, yet still employees are lingering outside around the store sad but true
