Now hear this:What I will do is write my review as the truth here and now.Always, If you have any problems at this place or any ask to speak with the owner. Don't let other's short comings distract you from best sales and service. Here ask for Pete Allen.Pete Allen, Jr. (Owner) and all his staff there goes out of their way to provide all their customers with the very bast sales and services you'll find in the State Of Alabama.Pete's father started this business many years ago and when Pete Sr. passed his son took over and even though I still miss his father I've grown to have great respect in his son today.He'll go far out of his way to server me and everybody that comes to him for their medical needs. So, even though some of the staff is short coming take your problems to Pete.Don't listen to all the reviews on here. If and when you are in need go by and gain Pete's dedication to provide you with his very best!

My husband is a veterans and got a electric scooter & electric lift thought DME Services. They installed the electric lift on our truck. We were told that the lift would fit & work on both our trucks. WRONG, the lift want work on my truck and it hooks up the same way on both trucks. The electric lift wiring caused problems with our electric trailer brake box and cause our service check engine soon light to come on where wiring got hot. We have talk to these people several times, they tell me to call the VA. The VA tells me to contact the DME Services cause the equipment is under warranty. They don't want to honor the warranty and fix the problems. We took our truck to the Dodge dealership to be fixed, which we payed for. Now we got to get the VA to fine someone else to fix the lift wiring & scooter cause we are having no luck with either services and my husband is a VETERAN.

The front office worker is rude and completely inconsiderate of both the family and the disabled person. The people responsible for the actual service provided are knowledgeable and more than helpful. Parking near the business/for the business is almost impossible, even parking in the back alley is questionable.

Do not go here. My husband was using a knee scooter and it broke. When we called the office to see about getting a replacement, they didn't seem to care and were not interested in helping us. Returned scooter. No customer service at all!

I wish I could give this place zero stars because that is what they deserve. Rude customer service, made me wait forever to get my supplies. Hang up on me before I am finished speaking. Tell me that everything is in order one day just to find out ..ooops it isn't the next day. Stay clear of them. If I could give any disabled person any bit of advise it is to stay away from Dme services... services lol what a joke.

I am alarmed at how rudely this company treated us. We called to get a fax number and a specific code our insurance company requested. We were going to order a piece of equipment that costs several thousand dollars. The DME representative told us that because our insurance is going thru a different program then they are familiar with it was unlikely that they would get paid for the equipment so they wouldn't service us. Continuously telling me "we proably won't get paid" and leaving my two questions unanswered. We have been attempting to get this equipment for a year and a half and were simply trying to use a grant program our medical insurance started, reguardless of if the grant process worked we have the money to pay for it ourselves. But the way in which we were spoken to by this company they will not be getting one cent from us. Being highly involved in the special needs community we will recommend everyone we know to go elsewhere.
