Dr. Vargas and his staff are the best! I adopted a 7 1/2 dog and Dr Vargus put my mind at ease right away that she was very healthy. And he even asked about my silly cat and how she liked her new sister. I would recommend Double Oak Mountain to everyone!

Dr. Douglas and Rosa came to my home to help put my very loving but aggressive 13 year old pup to sleep. They were perfect and compassionate. It was a very difficult process because of his demeanor but everyone at Double Oak was so caring and helpful. I am so grateful.

Double Oak has been my vet for over 10 years now. They have always taken exceptional care of my animals and I have recommended them to several others who also fell in love with their customer service, veterinarians and pet care.

We had a dog bite wound and they did a great job! They got us seen quickly, took care of the wound, and the staff were so kind and helpful! Will definitely be returning!*Side note: we had to go on the weekend during emergency hours so it was very expensive. It may be different during normal work hours.

We had a great visit with Dr. Miller today. She is so helpful with our wire-haired pointing griffon, Molly. She is very understanding and always upbeat. All the staff members at Double Oak Mountain have been very caring and attentive. It is a little bit of a drive for us but well worth it. Thanks Dr. Miller!

From the front desk to the veterinarian, everyone that helped me with my dog’s emergency was phenomenal. I was in a panic on my drive over and by the time I picked up my dog from her operation, I felt so much relief. Thanks for seeing me so very last minute, late, and on a weekend. Grateful to all of you!

We have been taking our two pups here since we moved into the area in 2022 and absolutely love it. The staff is wonderful, super friendly, happy to help and treats our pups like we do. Highly recommend you check them out if you are looking for pet care!

This place has saved my kitty in an emergency situation and I can never thank them enough!! He ate a string and Dr. Miller was able to do the surgery and get it out quick and he has not had any issues since. My German shepherd came in yesterday for a bath and a deshed with the groomers and he his coat has never felt softer and he smells so good. He is a crybaby but they were able to handle him well. I recommend every service this place offers and I will always mention them when someone asks for a vet or a groomer.

We took our dog for a tidy up with the groomer just a few days ago. She came back to us hurt and dragging her behind and chasing her tail. Upon inspection she has razor burn on her fanny. By the next day she became lethargic and would only lay on the couch or in her crate. She couldn’t stand and would only eat lying down. Her whole personality changed in a day! She was miserable, so we took her to another vet today and found out she has infection and also her fanny had a mat on it the groomer didn’t trim. She had to have a steroid shot , and a prescription for antibiotics and steroids. That cost us $133 plus the $41 and tip we paid the groomer to injure our dog and not do her job.If you care at all about your pet , never take them there to be groomed. I have called twice and no one will call me back.Update: After reading my review I got a call from the office manager to apologize and offered to refund the groomer charge on my card. I do appreciate that. Also, I will say , Dr Douglas has always been great, but now I don’t want to go there. This was a groomer issue, not the Veternarian, although I was disappointed they did not call me back.

(This review only applies for emergency cases) They required I call animal poison control and pay them an $85 fee just to talk on the phone with them and tell them the symptoms my dog was having. The appointment to talk to the doctor alone was another $75. His treatment ended up being close to $800 after all was said and done. While they are less expensive than steel city, they have a very similar business style.

Best Vet services hands down. They care for my fur babies as much as I do. Had a dog that was at urgent clinic overnight and needed surgery. Picked him up from urgent care, called our personal vet (Double Oak Mountain) and they were waiting for us to walk in for surgery. Stayed on top of his recovery and cared for him diligently till he was back on his feet. Staff is extremely professional and caring.
