Maintenance was terrible. I signed the lease over to my abusive ex and they didn’t do a background check on him. They lied to me saying they did check his background but that’s not true at all. He sells drugs and also has another person living there who is not on the lease. They’re okay with anything that goes down on their property as long as you pay rent.Your reply is not accurate. I signed the lease with my name and my father’s because my ex didn’t have the credit approval. When the lease renewed my exs name was placed on there. When i signed it over to him there was no credit check or background check. This was not two years ago, but last year. FYI. And yes he was understanding of my situation but I’m stating the point that there was no background or credit check done when the lease was signed over.

My family is currently renting with H2 and we’re having a great experience. Logan guided us through the process from showings to paperwork, and has been so kind to make sure everything is in good order at the apartment. We had a couple of minor maintenance requests and that process was very smooth and they were completed within 48 hours. If something changes I’ll update, but after seeing some of the reviews on here I wanted to make sure to share my positive experience.

Logan Day was the best Agent I ever experienced in my life time she literally understood the assignment was very professional took her time patient she even was willing to show me places to stay in the rain omg !! That’s dedication cause I hate the rain. I love her personality and she knows what she’s doing she the best ! I would recommend her a thousand times am still in Awee over my new home and Logan made it possible!!

I cannot say enough great things about Logan and the H2 team! I am in the process of moving states from GA to AL, and she has gone out of her way to show me tours on facetime, show me my favorite properties and work with me. They are great, straightforward and have made the jump from states seamless. Thank you Logan and the team, again!

Very pleased with our relationship with H2 properties. They have always been a joy to work with from professionalism, timeliness and attention to detail. They make sure to strive to attain safe and beautiful properties in the Birmingham area. I highly recommend this company!!!!!

Craig (senior property manager) doesn't know how to write respectfully to a former tenant. His approach was rude. I have worked with Autumn Brown, their prior manager, who was extremely nice, polite, and respecful to the tenants.

One of my friends was thinking about renting an H2 apartment. But he couldn't figure out why, on earth, H2 needs a $75 application fee from each family member and what services they provide for a $350 non-refundable admin fee. (rating based on the website information)

Completely unprofessional and poor communicators. I’ve been given the run around for 3 months concerning a mice infestation and transferring units and my situation still has not been resolved regardless of their “efforts.” Which are half “behind” if you know what I mean. No one acknowledges the effort if there is still a huge issue; a mouse infestation and live nests in my kitchen. I’ve lived in my apartment for 3 years and it wasn’t like this until they got new management. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I do not recommend these apartments. And you know it has to be pretty bad if it’s enough to write a review on.

Logan and her team have been excellent in helping me find a place, and fast. The maintenance team was fast and thorough. I highly recommend using Logan at H2 for any housing needs.

I’ve lived in one of their complexes for 3 years and while my first 2 have been peaceful, this last year has been terrible. The buildings are infested with mice and instead of fixing up the building and closing holes in wall to at least keep out the mice, they throw bags of bait in the holes which not only doesn’t fix the problem but it baits even MORE mice to trace through your apartment. I lost count of how many they caught after 12 in my apartment alone. The price and location of these apartments may sound nice but in order for to keep your peace, look elsewhere.

I have lived in an H2 apartment for 8 years now. Yes, my property was not always owned by H2 as it was purchased I believe 4 years ago or so by them. Anyway, I have nothing but nice things to say about H2. Have there been issues with my property? yes. Have I had to wait sometimes for someone to come out and see to my maintenance issue. yes. Have they ever just flat out ignored my issues or not fixed my problems in a timely manor? NO. Mike and Dakota and the H2 staff have saved me from having no heat, no air conditioning, and no way to cook food and all times were extremely quick to resolve my issues. They were professional and friendly and always cleaned up any mess they had to make to fix anything they had to fix. (Sometimes the exact same day I put in the request.) Yes rent has almost doubled since I moved into my apartment, but that is in no way the fault of H2. It's just the days we live in. JJ from H2 has always communicated any issues with my account to me and has worked with me several times to make sure I was able to continue to be a resident with them, even during the corona virus lockdowns. If there have ever been any issues with dangerous neighbors or conditions in our complex, he has always made sure to see that they were taken care of for the safety and happiness of all of my neighbors. I hope to be able to continue to be a resident with this company and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

When searching for an apartment, the agent listened to my thoughts on what I was looking to rent. Narrowing down my search results to a few available options and saved me time. The agent showed great patience and was pleasant to work with while I looked at options.The grounds where I chose to rent are well maintained. The parking lot and walkways to apartments are well lit. Maintenance requests are fulfilled in a timely manner. There are multiple ways to request services. Five ⭐️

I’ve lived with H2 for 6 months, and have had a fantastic experience so far. Any issues when I moved in were fixed very quickly. Mike and Dakota from the maintenance team are great! They’ve got a great team, and shoutout to my property manager Danielle for being so understanding and responsive.
