Room and bathrooms were clean. The property was well maintained, likely newer compared to the other Hilton properties. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the breakfast selection, which was very minimal.

I choose Home2Suites when possible because their rooms has a home too appeal. Full sized refrigerator, sink, disposal, dishwasher, microwave, some with cook top too, and coffee maker.Why spend $7.00 for coffee when can make in room and sat in your P Jay's.Believe it even a quick breakfast at McDonald's is around ten bucks when with Hilton it's usually free.

I'll say this. Ms Cathy in the kitchen is THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS PLACE. HER SERVICE IS PHENOMENAL.Food & drinks: Breakfast bar is great. I met Ms Cathy that does the cooking.Noteworthy details: Mrs Cathy in the kitchen is ? à real star. Food is yum.

Location was perfect and convenient to everything, staff was very kind and helpful, the room was dirty, like it had not been cleaned in a while. your shoes would stick to the floor as you walked in. looked like it had not been wiped down or vacuumed in a long time. the bed may have been the worst i have ever slept on. It really needs to be replaced asap.Rooms: Really Dirty, nothing wiped down, floors were sticky, the phone had some kind of flakes all over it.Nearby activities: convenient to hospital, shopping and dining.Safety: it seemed safe.Walkability: not very close to anything but office buildings for walking distanceFood & drinks: great little bar that stays open late, (Black Market Bar & Grill) Food and service was excellent.Noteworthy details: beds are worn out and rooms are not clean!

Bad experiences twice. First time stayed in Oct 2023 and the lady at the reception was extremely rude. We came slightly early for check in and instead of telling us nicely that check-ins are not before 3 pm she talked to us with bad attitude, rolling her eyes. When we asked for her name she realized that we may complain she changed her attitude and tried to help her. We ignored it and did not complain or write bad review. But we stayed last night 12-23, checked in around 5 pm, and the middle aged white guy at the reception desk was nice and helpful. We thought great better experience this time. However our experience turned bad again at breakfast time. They had stale bagels in the breakfast. Extremely limited choices so we decided to have bagels. They were hard as a rock. When asked the gurl standing there wearing red hair she shrugged her shoulders said ‘I’m not in charge of breakfast’. One lady customer told me they served us the same bagel yesterday… ? the lady in charge of breakfast came with no apologies, shoeing no concern pickup the breadbox that had stale bagels and dump them in the trash can that was right there. Another lady working in the breakfast area was screaming on the phone with her daughter or someone. I heard all her personal issues while eating breakfast there. She had no concern of others listening her woes. Average room, good gym, good coffee but bad bad bad customer service, except for the guy who worked on 12/23 evening. Please avoid.

I had a nice stay. My only complaint is that I was only given one Face cloth. The bed light didn’t work but there was a lamp near and it allowed me to read my book when I turned towards the bed. The AC locked at 80 but often blew cool air out as it was 32 Degrees outside. The room was a little cooler than I would like. If you get cold easily, you wouldn’t want to stay here. Also the Dish Washer needs some love and care because it smell like spoiled milk inside. Other than that I enjoyed the stay. Everything worked except Only in Alabama do the Digital Key not initially work. Hilton created the digital key we can by pass a long line and go straight to the room not walk around the building with Luggage. The side door was locked the entire stay. They were to afraid to let guest come in the side doors. Makes no sense. Even if the digital key worked initially I wouldn’t know. I had to walk around the building with Luggage. Minor fixes hopefully that are fixed sooner than later.

Overall, the stay was ok. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. With that said, the hotel is in need of a deep clean and maintenance. Pictures say a thousand words. I was also extremely disappointed in the water pressure for the shower. Probably a 3 out of 10. Also, I had one was cloth and three other towels. Not sure how that happened. And yes,, that is the black ring around the inside of the tolet. I look for cleanliness. Also, the orange juice was extremely watery. Must have been going out when I was there. I would stay there again because of the employees and deal with the condition of the room I guess.

We stayed two nights at a different hotel and had a very awful experience before checking into home 2 suites. They accommodated early check in since we had our dog on the trip. Valerie was very nice and helpful that was very comforting to us because of our previous stay elsewhere. Thank you Valerie. Rooms were extremely clean and very comfortable. (But the only thing was that the bathroom was the complete opposite it was very dirty mostly the shower was). I didn't expect that with how clean the hotel and room was. We also had no toilet paper during our stay we weren't in the room all day we came back at night so it wasn't a problem until I got up to use it this morning. I do recommend staying here if you're OCD. Bed was comfortable and clean too!

I haven't even stayed here yet and already had a bad experience...I just called to make sure my points were used for my stay, as I wanted to stay here tomorrow to see how it was because I stay in Birmingham multiple weeks at a time, and I wanted to see what this one was like.When the young lady at the counter picked up tonight, and I asked could she look at my reservation to see if points he'd been applied because I've had problems where they weren't applied before. She asked, "did you put in your member number...'. I said yes. And she said. "You gonna have to hold for a minute...". Which is understandable, but had me on hold for 12 minutes! She came back, asked me how I booked, and proceeded to tell me what she couldn't do, without even looking at my reservation! Room prices go up, but customer service seems to go down we'll see how I like it in person tomorrow. Doesn't pay to be a Diamond member anymore.

To start with, great place to stay, well done ??? A mention to Daniel for his excellent customer service experience (enjoyed our selfie). Room was immaculately clean. Good selection at breakfast. Would most certainly recommend!

This was the worst experience for weary travelers. The AC, refrigerator, and blinds were broken. The room was filthy. The service was an "I don't care" attitude.

Nice size rooms that were designed for extended stays. We prefer larger bathrooms on our Hilton stays, but appreciated the size of the living area a lot. One of the mattresses was a bit worn and needs replacing, with the middle depressed.One of the elevators was out of service for most of the weekend.The gym had really nice equipment and space to move around in.The breakfast was ok for what it is. Frozen foods heated up to have a full starter meal.The location is a bit off the beaten path on a side road, but it is just off the interstate and close to a wide range of activities.Overall it was a nice stay.

This hotel always goes above and beyond. I’ve stayed here three years in a row and I am always pleased with true rooms, cleanliness, and staff. The staff is the best part of this hotel. HIGHLY recommended.Perfect location for SEC baseball tournament. Lots of things around including good (both fast food and restaurants. Employees were nice. The room kinda looked like a crime scene with unknown red substances on the wall along with fingerprints everywhere. ?Room definitely needs a cleaning. 2 stars is generous.

A great Hilton property close to so many things! We love that we could bring our dogs and that there was plenty of outdoor space. We will be back!
