LeNell’s is the most unique spirits and wine shop in the entire metro.
For years, I’ve frequented this spot for unique wines, strange and out of this world spirits, and tailored service.
The second you walk in, you’ll notice the charm and feel to this spot.
It isn’t about quantity here. You won’t find garbage, either. This is the spot for unique items, limited editions, and stuff you won’t find anywhere else in birmingham.
She even does occasional tastings, AND she usually has some incredible deals going on as well as very low price options for when you’re in a pinch.
Of all the spirits stores in the metro, this one is by far the most unique.

LeNell's is where you go when you need a very specific liqueur, type of bitters or a large selection of mocktail ingredients. A lot of their stuff tends to be on the high side for pricing but man, if you need it in a pinch, they probably have it or can recommend a great substitute. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and will sometimes even provide a taste test. The store decor is kind of like a mini museum to liquor and fun to wander around in with the bathtub gin definitely a centerpiece.

I always find something super interesting when I visit LeNell's and I appreciate how she has tons of price points available. Her specials and insider deals are lots of fun: most recent sighting - "show us your tattoo and we'll give you a discount on this bottle of wine (brand had something to do with tattoos)" - she also usually has something available for tasting which really helps when you're trying to make a purchasing decision.
