IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT LETTING YOUR 15 year old start OFF working at this LOCATION ( TRUSSVILLE) PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ITS MANAGED BY SOMEONE THAT DOESN’T FEED OFF KIDS MESS AND DRAMA! My 15 year old dreamed about working at this place and it turned out to be her worst NIGHTMARE! She was BULLIED&TARGETED by GROWN PPL! and NO one CLEARLY didn’t care. She was FIRED for ONLY 2 write ups. So they say. She is 15!!!!! And I feel like The reasons are BOGUS! No call no show. And one of those write ups SHE CALLED and CALLED and CALLED because she CLEARLY TOLD THEM HER PHONE WAS BROKEN. THEY KNEW IT. BUT at that time The bull was already in the making to get her fired due to my child NOT being given the handbook. HR got on her ( so she said ) Had a meeting about it. The next one She misread the schedule. Ok I get that one. She only use to get 2 days out of a week ( Sometimes) so I get that.. OH the other one She was OFF! But One of the employees said She agreed to come to work for her. But don’t the manager suppose to CONFIRM that? SMH I knew she was trying to fire my child because she said HR and the F.W.L wanted her to Bully my child. And That’s exactly what she did. Surely my child could’ve received some kind of grace due to Employees leaving ( without letting a manager know) her to run the ENTIRE store ALL BY HERSELF. For HOURS ! But Oh they don’t want to talk about that. NOR FIRE THE PERSON that KEPT doing it. I could go on about what happened to her in there. All I say is NEW MANAGER! Because THAT ONE IS A SNAKE! I’ll drive to the Galleria to get my cookies and so will my ppl!

I have been a marble slab fan since the 1990's. I was so excited to find one so close to our house! Our first time there was fun and I guess we made the right choice? The second was not so good....I felt like I was walking on pins and needles, so as not to piss off the person serving us and I ended up bringing the ice cream home and dumped it in a blender with rum to make a boozy shake because it didn't taste that great. Tonight, I ordered cheesecake with strawberries and graham crackers. I threw it out after a couple of tastes to make sure that it was indeed tasteless. My wife ordered vanilla with oreos and hot fudge. The person said they dont have hot fudge and proceeded to squeeze the cold fudge out of the bag which was supposed to be in hot water? Their menu says hot fudge sundaes. It was $13 and I added a goodbye 20% tip. We will not be back. I am not sure who is at fault, but mr. Owner needs to get his ass down there if he wants to stay around....and I mean quick.

When I say terrible I mean TERRIBLE, I went went with 4 people the lady who took are order messed up 3 of the 4 orders! My brother said "may I please have 1 scoop of chocolate ice cream in a cone, she gave him dark chocolate in cup... we repeated the same words 4 times "in a cone" and she practically ignored us! All the people around us also seemed to have there orders wrong the atmosphere of that place was terrible! That's all I have to say 1/5 stars

This store has NO customer service principles. I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday 5 days before I needed it through their online ordering system. LESS than 24 hours before I am to pick it up CLINT from the store calls to say their system is messed up and has been allowing people to order for a pick up time when they are not open. I asked for it to be made and I'd pick it up same day. He says they need at least 24 hours to make it. I told him he sucked because why in the world would he wait to call me. He had 4 days to see my order and the issue in HIS system and call me to make it right. When I got upset he called me an "F***'n psycho" and kicked me out of his store, threatening to call the police. Then when my husband called to get our money back Clint hung up on him. So now I have no cake for her party and haven't been refunded for the service not provided. This store is rude, unprofessional, and does not deserve your business.

After reading through the other reviews, I'm a little torn on my experience. The staff, originally came off as kind of un-interested, but they warmed up and were really quite friendly and attentive by the time I was wrapping up with my order.They had cake batter ice cream, which is one of my favorites! They also made shakes, one of my favorite ways to get cake batter. I was kind of anticipating that it was going to be a very runny shake, but in actuality it was really pretty good! It wasn't runny at all and it held it's thickness, even in the warm afternoon heat outdoors. They offered two sizes of shakes, a small and a regular. I asked for a regular (found out later it was about $6 - which is kind of steep for what they give you).All in all my experience, seems like it was better than many of the others that have been here. I would return, based on my initial visit. I guess I would just be cautious about when I go. It may be that my visit around 12:30 in the afternoon varied from the other people because they were all within about an hour of closing. I guess keep that in mind when going here.

So my mother and I went Sunday around 8:46pm...yes we know it was basically closing time but everything was great until it was time to fix my ice cream. The girl didn't mixes it cause she said the stone wasn't clean but at COLD STONE THEY CLEAN IT AFTER EACH CUSTOMER but that's not the problem. The problem is she didn't put none of the toppings on my ice cream saying it doesn't go there but I can clearly read where it said brownies, fudge, Oreos, cookie dough etc she didn't put none of that. She throw some crap together and said sorry...like miss girl I don't want no sorry I want my ice cream like I wanted it but it's cool COLD STONE WOULD NEVER‼‼

Ice cream had a slimy film on top from sitting too long and the sundaes were sloppily thrown together. The customer service sucked. The employees made it clear we were taking too long to order, asking what we wanted every ten seconds even though the store was otherwise empty. The $6 sundae filled up half the cup, and they put as little of each topping as they could. The individual making our desserts also did not know how to make what we ordered, turning around to read the menu to know what to put on it. They charged a commodity charge to run our card, without notifying us they were doing so and then tried to get away with it by walking away before I could ask for a receipt. Rude people, poor customer service.

Terrible customer Service. We came at 7:50 (they close at 9) but it was made VERY clear that they were ready to home home because "i have worked a 14 hours day and made 16 cakes and I'm ready to go" and was how we were greeted. The chairs were up, the slab turned off, the open sign turned off and they kept locking to door to let people in and out. It was AWFUL. If you are supposed to stay open till 9- this behavior is unacceptable 1 hour and 10 minutes before closing. this isn't the first time.... we wont be back.
