Great storefront! They have the largest selection of kicks in the entire area! Something for everyone including streetwear, sneakers and more! This is my go to spot in Birmingham. Customer service is 5/5 stars and the product is great!

This is such a fun place to check out. All sorts of hard to locate sneakers and some eclectic shirts too. It’s a gem in downtown Birmingham.

Visited for the first time to trade some shoes in for store credit. The trade in value they offered me was very fair. All of the employees were super professional and polite. Definitely recommend - go support a local business!

Full disclosure, I am not the normal client of Memory Lane. I am a 65 year old man. I went with my daughter because she wanted to have help on her selection. Happy to do it.This place is amazing. I had no idea there was such a market for athletic shoes. The inventory which changes daily was over the top. However, one of the reasons I went was to see the famous safe. Yes you heard me right. A Safe for the high end shoes. Since the athletic shoes my daughter was looking at were over $200.00, I wanted to know, what about the shoes in the safe. The let me in and well, they were very expensive. I guess my PF Flyers and Keds as a kid are not longer a things. Anyway, the staff was engaging, fair and helpful. I like this place and hope they have great success.

The staff were very helpful. They had several pairs of Jordans and dunks, and of course, Yeezy slides.

Very cool idea for a store. Got my husband a gift card and I did not hold back but he wasn’t able to find anything under 400$ in his size. This seems ridiculous. The place is literally top to bottom full of sneakers and not one pair under 400 in his size. Found the ones he wanted online for 200

Wildly overpriced. I am all for supporting local business, but not when they are this much higher priced than the secondary market. I will continue to use them to try on shoes and see what sizes I need and go buy elsewhere for 60% of their cost. Save your money--buy from GOAT or StockX.

Idk about others but my experience here has always been good. Finally decided to get the j1s. When I thought I needed to return them everyone behind the counter was helping trying to get a resolution. Water, Roddy, Rod and the other guy I can't remember his name short and maybe PR? Either way if I was a sneaker head I'd go in more often. And the value of the shoes is actually the value of the shoes. They bussin too (despite the feedback to the contrary lololololol)

Pretty good shoe store. They had a lot of good shoes and I like how they had the prices attached on the bottom of the shoe that way you don’t have to constantly ask the price like other stores. The staff were friendly when you approached them, but otherwise they didn’t really engage.

I wouldn't recommend shopping with Memory Lane. They are more about raising the price on the average buyer and scheming to get interest in their shoes with low, non-existing prices.I was interested in a shoe that was shown on their social media, but they will sell me the exact size shoe for $200+ more. This is strange when we confirmed the requested purchase and didn't have any missed communication. If this is the message they are sending to their customer, I will spread the word and file a claim with the BBB if they are registered. This is an unethical practice that swindles potential buyers. I promise they'll never get my business but only bad publicity from me.The sad part is that I received the message after explaining to them that the service is unacceptable. I should buy the other pair because they are doing me justice.

The place is nothing more than a Hypebeast store. Clearly they have shoe plugs so they have a steady supply of deadstock shoes for retail price. That means if you bring a fairly new shoe in there, they're not going to pay the actual worth of the shoes. The prices for shoes in general there are outrageous. For example, if some Hyper Royal 1s are $400 on StockX, Memory Lane will charge $600+ for the same shoe right off the shelf. Their end goal is to make you feel obligated to sell other shoes to essentially bring the price back down to $400. I was told by an employee that " they have to keep the lights on". So yeah unless you have a semi legal/illegal way to get multiple pairs of shoes before or right after they drop them bring them to memory lane to sell, you probably won't be able buy anything there.Stick to eBay, GOAT and StockX if you want the best deal folks.
