Everyone was very friendly and answered every question I had (including questions I didn’t even know I had. Dr. Barron was very informative and open/transparent about what I needed and didn’t need. When I got fitted for glasses they explained in detail what it would cost me after insurance and even gave me excellent advice about how to maximize my benefits. Overall, a five star experience.

The staff is very polite and pleasant. I’m pleased with my experience. I would highly recommend this location. They are open later than other eye care places, also very easy to book appointments with. Great selection on frames, they also accept outside/online frames.

I needed to get a copy of my glasses prescription, & when I tell you the customer service was excellent. A Beautiful and extremely knowledgeable lady helped me name Jasmine. She was very professional ,polite and friendly ! She took care of all my needs and made me feel welcomed. I Love this location!

I am absolutely feed up with the location!! This business needs to update there hours on Google!! Because it says this location closes at 4pm on Saturday but I arrive there at 2pm to find the location closed!!!! Then I arrive there the next Saturday at 12:40pm to the doors locked again while one employee holding a baby behind the counter watch as my daughter knocked on the door and did nothing. Finally a lady came from the back to let her in!!! I work 6 days a week 9 to 5 so I had to leave work super early just to pi ck up these glasses.... it's a huge inconvenience to get all the way over there to find you closed!! Will be switching back to America's Best probably!!

Jasmine was amazing. She works the front desk.While out-of-state, I went to MyEyeDr. I bought glasses and had them sent to this location. I received a text and an email from the out-of-state store that my glasses were ready. I went to pick up my glasses at this location. The glasses were not there.Jasmine called the out-of-state store and was very stern with them about getting the glasses. It was so nice to have someone on my side, advocating for me. I really appreciate what she did. Catie also came out from the back to support Jasmine. They were a great team.Hopefully, the out-of-state store will get their act together like this store.

Dr. Barron and Team were great to work with and super knowledgeable about vision health. I found the perfect pair of eyeglasses for any occasion. Their office has the latest vision technology and designer frames. Will visit again!

I visited the Southside location of MyEyeDr today for my annual eye exam. Dr. Patricia Benjamin has been my eye doctor for almost 25 years; since these offices were Schaeffer Eye Centers. Dr. Benjamin delivers great patient care. She is always thorough and she's also quite funny and interesting. I always walk away having learned something but most importantly, I know she's making sure my eyes are in good health. She's told me that she has been able diagnose other health issues which is good to know. Today's visit was great. I was able to check in online for the first time which is nice. The receptionist was kind. I only waited a short while before Catherine (tech) came to take me back for several of the usual eye tests and then she conducted my Opti-mapping. Catherine was both pleasant and efficient. I saw Dr. Benjamin next then met with Camellia who helped me pick out some rather stylish frames. Camellia was very friendly and great to work with; listen, she even tightened up my current frames and my sunglasses. Both frames were falling off my face, they were pretty bad. This was a pretty good experience and I'm looking forward to picking up my new glasses. ?

Im very disappointed in the service I received by Dr. Jeremy Barron at the five point Southside location. I went in for my eye exam. He was very short , and rude . I received my glasses a week later. I noticed it was a problem with my prescription. I called got another appointment. I went to my appointment, he was very nasty and rude to me. He would not listen to my concerns about the new prescription. I explained to him that my vision was very blurry far off, he tried telling me what the Book said and his pictures of the eye diagram. I listened didn't interrupt him. Once he finished I explained once again that I understand very well what the textbook may tell you, but im speaking for my experience. I informed him the old glass I was wearing I could see just fine out of them and the prescription may have been to strong . Just do another exam and let me go! He got mad and said " Im not going to keep fixing these glasses you need to let your eyes adjust. I told him he didn't have to be rude and nasty, He told me i get that a lot and im not rude! I requested a refund . I told him I was leaving a review on how nasty he was and wouldn't listen to me. Ms.Sally the Gm was really nice and Apologized to me and gave me my money back. Set me up with a different doctor. The other staff members were very professional. Dr. Barron should not work with public if you don't want to listen to the patient.

I love coming to this location! Everyone is always very nice and friendly. Especially Camellia(optician) that help me with my glasses. She had the best customer service I've everexperienced. Great at what she does and she made sure she found me the perfect pair of glasses.Very knowledgeable and professional!! They deserve a 10/10!!

I am loving my new frames!! Dr.Benjamin did an outstanding job with my exam and my prescription she took her time and explained everything to My understanding. My visit was amazing from the front desk staff Jasmine , super friendly and thorough. I had an great technician Nisha she was so detailed and answered every question to the best of her ability! Alex was GREAT I can't thank him enough he picked out the first frame and instantly I fell in love he knew my style and exactly what I would like , he was patient and very detailed about my frames and lens. Thank you My eye Dr Southside for the awesome service and experience!

Update she did not save my glasses and did not do my measurements again so probably want even be able to use them. I have been going here for over 6 years and never had to pay more than $20, it’s been a week since my exam and not only was my insurance paying over $800, They told me I still had to pay almost $400, finally got it down to basic for $135, my husband went to pay it today and now they said Camille didn’t save my information so I have to go back in and get remeasured and she probably didn’t even save my glasses, I will be looking for another eye doctor after this experience. Completely irresponsible and costly especially when they can’t even do their job, I have heart issues and now I have to go back in after working a 16 hour shift and having to go to the heart doctor I have to go get all this done again at My Eye Doctor Southside, and I am having to wait in this empty lobby because they are just being rude. I feel like my information wasn’t saved because they thought “oh she’s not going to pay for the glasses” couldn’t even find the glasses I originally wanted last time I will ever be to any my eye doctor

I am so disappointed. This is my 2nd year getting glass from this location. Both times, the initial visits were great. Both times picking up my eye wear was a bad experience. I had to pick up my new glasses without being offered any adjustments (they don't fit so i can't wear them). I was told by the lady up front that they were super busy, and she didn't know how to adjust them. (Ma'am why don't you all have appointments to pick up. Had I known i would not have waisted my time to come today.) This is the 2nd year having the same problem. I am furious. You've received the money and now that you need to finish the job by making sure these glasses are a great fit, you show no interest and seem to be okay with sending me away with glasses that don't fit. Why no appointments for pick ups? Poor customer service. I excused the first year. Now I see this is just how you do business. I am not happy AT ALL. You were good up until you got payment. Just....wow!! I've paid too much to have this problem.

Dr. Barron is the best! He's always careful to listen to my individual needs and get my eyes set for another year. The staff; from Jasmine cheerfully calling to confirm my appointment and being able to find my insurance almost magically, Nisha being incredibly patient and kind while getting me ready to see the doctor, and Alex and Camellia giving me honest opinions while selecting glasses and guiding me to fully utilize my benefits... I've never such a welcoming experience and now have my favorite pair of glasses!
