We wanted to have Sunday breakfast at a place other than the usual national chain breakfast joint, which many ate closing in the urban Birmingham area. Although in the Five Points area, it looked like a hole in the wall establishment. It was large in side but cozy with tables close to each other resulting in conversations with others. The wait wasn't long as was the meal being served by a great server. Great food including my western omelette that was so big that I brought some home for my dinner.

Yall need to get some help for the front of the house because one woman ripping and running and getting frustrated is insane. One day I get two slices of toast the next one so it's hard to understand what I'm getting for my money. Food is ok though.

I'll start off by saying that my dog really enjoyed the food. As a person who cannot have carbs I ordered the steak and eggs. It was disappointing. I ordered scrambled eggs and they must be from a carton and not cracked. Immediately spit them out. The steak was chewy and flavorless. My husband got pancakes and they were the only thing he liked on his plate. Sorry that I wasted $40. I'll post a pic of their "large fruit cup" ridiculous. Just go to waffle house, it's sadly better than this place.Dietary restrictions: No carbs

We are in from out of town and we’re looking for a good brunch. We enjoyed our food, which came quickly, but the food tasted even better because the service was excellent. The hostess, server, busier, and cook were all friendly. Everyone in the restaurant looked to be enjoying themselves. The coffee was perfect strong. The prices are reasonable and the street parking was free.

Great food and service. However, there was a bug crawling up the wall behind me. But it’s a classic place to go in bhm. Our server was wonderful!!!

Santa Fe omelet was excellent! Our waiter was very good. The bathroom was cramped and the urinal provided basically no privacy so be aware if you care about that kind of thing. Also seating inside is fairly cramped. Be sure to park behind the business and do not enter your tag information until you get inside the restaurant in order to park for free. Lots of homeless people in the area but none approached us.

This was my 2nd time visiting this establishment. Party of 5. We were seated pretty quickly, despite having a wedding party already waiting when we got there.Once seated, we weren't asked what we'd like to drink, just automatically given water, while watching everyone else being asked what they'd like to drink. Our order was not correct, just like the first time. I guess they didn't care because we're not regular faces and assumed we wouldn't tip because we're not regular faces. I have received better food and service at my local Waffle House's.

How do you rate traditional and consistent perfection? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We always get THE SENIOR breakfast: egg, meat, three pancakes. After early morning doctors’ visits, we reward ourselves with The Orginal Pancake House.
