Pepper Place is Birmingham’s design & dining destination, anchored at 2nd Ave S & 29th Street in the vibrant Lakeview District. Home to Pepper Place Market every Saturday in April through December from 7a to noon.
We started redeveloping Pepper Place in 1988 to spur new growth in a Birmingham that hadn’t seen a lot of love for several decades. What started as a few blocks of abandoned warehouses turned into over 350,000 square feet of restaurant, retail, office and workshop space, and the renowned farmers market.
