My PNC Money Market account was listed as inactive with no advance warning. This caused automatic monthly deposits to be turned away and the need to set up other arrangements at an inconvenience to me. I was notified AFTER it went inactive that the balance would be turned over to the state of Alabama if I didn't respond by a certain date. I did respond, but since the account was already inactive, there wasn't time to prevent the deposit fiasco.

This is the worst experience with a bank that I've ever had, and considering how bad BBVA was, that's quite an accomplishment. These people can't even manage to make an appointment-- in order to get my new debit card (because heaven forbid it come in the mail), I've got to make an appointment... but no one at the bank can book said appointment, other than the one guy handling ALL THE OTHER ISSUES being experienced by the hapless rubes who didn't close our accounts before this horrible thing happened to us-- if I had the hour and a half to wait for my turn to speak with that guy, why wouldn't I just have gotten him to hand me the card?Also, there are people who apparently have lost access to their money as a whole. This bank blows. It couldn't be worse. It looks like Regions will be having a banner year on the heels of this abomination.

First I stood in line for 10m waiting to reach the guy who just tells you how to get whatever service you need. I told him I needed to have both my business and personal debit cards activated, as it wasn't working online. He told me, with some attitude like I should have known, that I needed to see a banker and to use my phone to scan the qr code on a sign then wait for a text when someone could see me. So after 15m to learn this, I did it and waited. 35m later I'd heard nothing. So I texted again that I'd been waiting quite a while and wondered how much longer. No response. After killing over an hour of my very busy day, I finally left for my next appt. Nobody ever texted me. Today I went to the Homewood PNC location and feared the same, as people were waiting and discussing the inconvenience etc. But when I got to the teller, he said he could take care of it and had me activated and out of there in less than 10m total. BBVA>PNC is not going smoothly.

The bankers here are misinformed and when asked a question with even the slightest level of difficulty, they become rude and aggressive. I work in customer service and understand how you are treated sometimes in a customer facing environment, but her reaction was very strange. Will be changing banks for all 3 of my family members that use this bank immediately!

The only problem I have with this bank is transaction pend forever. Then once it finally goes through it overdraft your account.
