Experienced issues the last two visits when I taken a vehicle to them for routine maintenance (oil change & tire rotation). First visit with an issue was on my F150; Oil filter was improperly installed resulting of a loss of oil pressure and power while driving on I-20. This previous visit took my newly purchased vehicle for oil change & rotation; Sevice sheet had stated they checked tire pressure and stated all were at 39 psi. Come to find out left rear tire was at 65 psi. Feel free to take your vehicle here if you are comfortable with service being performed improperly or having a business tell you they performed a service when it is apparent they did not.

We purchased an F-250 from Paul Mayes and took delivery in December 2023. The pricing we were given was the exact price we paid with no processing fees or additional charges. We ordered the truck earlier in the year and Paul was upfront about delivery taking a few months from the order date. We were kept abreast of updates on the order status while the truck was being built and shipped. When the truck arrived at the dealership, Paul reviewed all the features and answered any questions we had and the managers wanted to make sure we were fully satisfied with the sales process (which we were). We would not hesitate to make an additional purchase in the future from Long-Lewis and also would recommend them for anyone looking to buy a Ford.

Terrible; we do business and spend money with this company, and they wouldn't give us the list and part number for a windshield. I would choose someone with better customer service.

Used to be fast and great service. Last 3 times I’ve gone there it’s a 21/2-3 hr wait for an oil change in the quick lane. Express oil change has been getting my business for a little more cost but out in 20mins…do better Long lewis!

Went for an oil change ($101) on Saturday June 17. Somebody who serviced the car overfilled the coolant reservoir. Got home and parked....now I have toxic antifreeze all over my driveway. Took 4 hours to clean it up because of Long Lewis Quick Lane's carelessness. I hope no animals here die because of their negligence. Won't be going back. Too expensive & too carelessness. I doubt they will read this or do anything about it, I just want others to know what happened.

Price of labor has doubled. Normally I pay in the $55-65 range for an oil change and tire rotation. Everyone knows inflation and the Russia/Ukraine war have the price of oil and shipping higher, yes. So, one might expect a slight increase in price. The cost of labor for a rotate and oil change went from $24 in 2021 to $49 today. I HIGHLY doubt this increase in labor cost is benefitting the mechanics employed here. This is price gouging at a time when they think customers won't notice due to inflation. The guy at the counter said the price of oil had gone up. Today a simple oil change and rotate tires was $105. They do good work here, thus the second star, but the owners are ripping off customers. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I have always got my service done here because I have bought 4 of my new vehicles from this dealership however here recently, because of my loyalty to them, I have traveled now twice an a hour and a half to get serviced from these guys only to be turned away. I arrived at 445pm and was turned away because they said they didn’t have time to give me a oil change, they don’t close until 6 so I just refuse to waste my time on them anymore. Someone else can have my business.

My experience with Long-Lewis Ford of Hoover was an unforgettable one, but for all the right reasons. Due to reasons unforeseen, the first truck I purchased from them in April (2022 F150 Powerboost) had transmission issues, coupled with parts on back order from the factory made it a living nightmare. Doing some digging on my end, it seemed to be an isolated issue and I gave Ford another chance. Thanks to my saleswoman, Rena Goodrich, along with Terry Pool, Joe Burrell, and Shomari Todd, pulled me out that nightmare and were able to put me into a new truck that renewed my faith in both the brand and it's employees. From beginning to end, the staff at this location were nothing short of amazing. They went above and beyond in remedying the situation in more ways than I could thank them for. I couldn't be happier purchasing a vehicle from this group and they have definitely earned a lifelong customer.

This is one really odd dealership. Despite the outside looking like a Ford dealership, the inside is anything but welcoming. It's a maze of barren, grey walls. They lead you to a gymnasium sized space with countless rows of cheap and empty desks. The person assigned to assist us had been working there for a week and was given a desk in the back corner. While there for basic information, we were held until a manager could "greet us". Imagine AmWay, an evening at the Branch Dividian compound and the awkwardness of freshmen orientation all wrapped into one, giant, grey, undecorated building. Had we been ready to purchase, perhaps it would have been a great experience. Window shopping? Nah, it was painful.

I can’t say the workmanship is a problem because to date it has not. The issue is customer service and the fact that if I did not call them they didn’t call me with updates. I needed parts order and they could not give me a date. I needed my car and was told point blank if I want my car I had to pay for the parts. I’ve never had a auto service rep talk to me in that manner. I wanted the repairs but was shocked by the reps tone. Like I might not come back. Well I won’t go back, thank you. Every employee whether you like it OR not you the company. So your behavior speaks for your leadership. You’ve lost a customer that was wowed by your quick lane service and I thought I’d get the same seamless customer service on the other service side. I was wrong. Fixed your less the average customer service interaction and you might avoid the lost of more customers.

They take forever and repeatedly leave the tire valve caps off. Of course it’s minor and not that big of a deal to buy new caps after each oil change, but it is super frustrating and worries me to think of other things that they are not doing properly and not paying attention too. Plus I have different tires on my car thanks to them not knowing the difference.

Service team member said he would call me with estimate of labor charges on accessories being put on truck. He did not. Charges were over $500.00 dollars for parts and labor. 95% being labor. Asked for a pickup 1.4 miles away to get my vehicle. Service team member said they did not do pickups. Charged me for oil change even though I had bought the Ford service plan that included that. (This was first oil change for new truck) Cashier said he probably didn't put in vin number. Why would they not register truck with vin number before during service? Only one star due to n And truck wasn't washed. And inside of truck smelled like oil and had shop smell. So I'm very disappointed and could not recommend buying or getting any vehicle serviced there. Not a good experience in any way for me.

Waited over 6 months to bring my car in. At first appointments were weeks to months out, then go for the first appointment and they tell me they can't look at it and I'll have to leave it for a few days. Finally get a few days off work and bring it in have you get a rental car because they are so slow. Terrible customer service, took over 30 minutes to check it in while I watched the guy checking it in call all there more important customers to give them updates. Repeatedly have been telling them to check the transmission and that they back hatch door has been malfunctioning. Then of course they tell me the transmission needs to be replaced and I say no because no Ford is worth spending $6000 on. Then of course they were surprised when I asked about the back door and they had not looked at it and were confused, and said it would be another $135 to check the door. I've gotten all of my service here since I bough the Ford from them and every little thing has taken a huge amount of time and been a huge headache. They don't appear to be understaffed, they just aren't managing their time wisely and aren't very smart. I now realize I made a mistake buying a Ford and using their service center. They are just as likely to damage your car, rip you off, not fix it that's other places; but are much slower and more expensive. Not to mention a long time ago when it was still fairly new and the auto start stop started malfunctions and I brought it in and they disabled it and called themselves fixing it. If you want a Ford you need to get a used one. Never got a call back, but Went to pick up my car 5/26/2021 after dropping it off on 5/19/2021 and paying for 1 week of rental car and spending the last week playing phone tag and begging them to check and fix the back lift gate and have the body shop fix the bottom. I told them not to fix the transmission because $6300 was too expensive and I did not trust them to make such a repair. The back door was supposedly not checked or fixed because it reportedly worked fine for them, and the body work was not done because reportedly they didn't know it was supposed to be done and had not ordered the part. And now I'm out around $500 in rental car/diagnostic fees plus a week worth of UV damage from leaving it there where it was likely left in direct sunlight all day everyday and I've got my car back with no repairs made. The only thing they did was replace the tire valve cap that was left off with my last oil change which is the only thing I could've easily fixed myself. I would be hesitant to ever buy another Ford knowing how many issues they have and how difficult it is to get anything fixed.
