I don't have to go in the bank too often simply because it's 2023, but I would occasionally go through the drive through to handle bigger business. One day the told me to withdraw like a few hundred along woth what i was doing( I'm allowed to get more than that from the dang atm) I'd have to come in woth my ID. Stupid because I had given him my ID and he could see me so I said "just come in with my ID?" And he said yes. I didn't do it that, but went in a week or so later because I wanted to change my name anyway. The girl wouldn't let me make a withdrawal. She said I needed 2 forms of ID and a password UNLESS THEY ARE FAMILIAR WOTH ME IN THAT BRANCH. That is completely ridiculous and the fact that I have preferred banking makes me want to change banks woth as much of a hassle it was. And I told her that was all I was told I needed. I guess it's really a matter of location because honestly... this isn't the best area. I went to Vestavia on a separate occasion(after this incident) and the guy asked for my ID, asked if I had my debit card and texted me a code after verifying my cell number(the same number that has been on my account over 15 years). I gave him the code, he gave me MY money. Simple as that. You guys should probably be more concerned with the people constantly coming in to the point you're "familiar" with them

If I could give this branch zero stars I would. Worse service I have received by far. They have people just standing around doing nothing with only one teller at the counter trying to take care of all the customers. I had to end up leaving & not even conducting the business I came there to do. All & all this is the absolute worse case of customer care & customer service I have experienced.

Consistently professional, friendly, and knowledgeable! These other negative reviews are so surprising! They must live in a parallel universe. So glad I’m in THIS one where Regions on Lakeshore (and other locations) is one of the best decisions I ever made. Thank you for meeting my, admittedly minor, banking needs with such a positive attitude and superior competence for well over 20 years!

I've been visiting this Regions for going on 10 years now. The staff is always super polite and efficient. I'm able to get in and out. I always am noticed when I arrive and greeted. A+

I went in with a few questions since I recently moved states and did not have a local bank in this area. The workers apologized and said they could not help me with my services, so I thanked them and walked out. While I was walking out (this happened twice because I went in two times with different questions), I overheard the workers laughing at my questions and my misuse of wording. It was clearly unprofessional to say something about a customer, whether their member of your bank or not, while at the counter around other customers and especially within the person’s earshot. I thought about switching to Regions bank since BOA is not located in AL however from this experience I will not be coming back…

I just had the BEST customer service experience in the drive-up line with Ms. Cynthia. She truly made my banking experience personal and she was very helpful. Regions Bank, you have a valuable employee in Cynthia! A plus!!

I went to the Bess location yesterday and the lady wasn't listening to me. She deposited my money into the wrong account. Same error but it costed me time and I'm a situation that was time sensitive. I ended up at the Lakeshore branch and two extremely nice and professional staff members spent everything within them to clear up her mistakes. Kudus to both Reid and Nilisha for all their help!

I went to the one that replaced this one off Lakeshore (this one is closed down). But to make my point, I was very disappointed in the service. Tried to do a transaction of a large portion of money from my Max card to my Regions card and the lady at the front (forgot to get her name), said the chip on my card wouldn’t go through. She only tried one time and kinda gave me a negative attitude towards it when I asked if I could try another Regions bank. So I went to the other Regions bank on Oxmoor and I had no issues there. Service was fast and easy!! Had no problems doing my transaction! Regions bank off Lakeshore disappointed me today.

My experience was Awesome!!! Kevin the Branch Manager of the Oxmoor Bank , in Birmingham, Alabama; treated our family like it was his family! He made us feel like he was there to meet our every need. What more could you ask for!!! In fact, the entire team was great!!!! I can only talk from my point of view, but I suggest you check it out for yourself!

This is the best regions in the city. They are so friendly, remember me when I come in, and have wonderful customer service.I know times are crazy right now, and sometimes things take longer than normal - but they are super apologetic and get you in and out as fast as they can.

I do not understand with a CLOSED lobby why is the drive thru so slow?! It really doesn’t make sense to me. No priority for commercial customers and no sense of urgency at all. 23 minuets for ONE CHECK.
