I entered the bank disheveled because earlier that morning my car was broken into and my purse stolen. I didn't know where to start but Josh H. greeted me as I walked in the door, I told him what happened and he immediately offered me a sit at his desk. Within minutes, he checked the account(s) for any unauthorized activities, canceled my checks and cards. I was even given a new debit card on the spot. His professional and calm demeanor was exactly what I needed at the time. I've been banking with Regions since I was a young adult. Because of their excellent and personal customer service, I will continue to bank with them.

I have for years getting change at this location for our store. Actually the owner of our stiller has an account here though not in store name. When I say years I am saying 10!!!!!!! The rude girl wouldn’t even speak to her manager to see if she could give me change for a large bill! I am not asking for money out of an account just exchanging bills! Customer service horrible!

This bank is hands down without a doubt the most incompetent, least helpful financial institution I have ever dealt with. They want everything to go through their call center, which is made up of untrained employees who do not understand banking. No one at the branch or the call center follows up or seems to have any interest in resolving problems. My mother banked at the Inverness branch for many years, and had a checking account and an IRA. She passed away in August, and since September I have been trying to settle her accounts there. First I called the branch and they said they'd take care of it. Then I received a letter from the call center asking for a copy of the death certificate and a notarized request. I complied. A few weeks later I received what appeared to be an internal document but no check. The next day I received a cashiers check but it was not signed. At that point I contacted the branch again and they had to get permission from the 'back office' to handle this. After several additional follow ups on my part they finally sent a signed cashiers check for the checking account proceeds. When I inquired about the IRA, the branch delayed for a few weeks more then sent me back to the call center. The call center sent me to the IRA department. Because it was a different department I had to send a notarized request and a copy of the death certificate again. Finally I received a check for part of the proceeds, but I'm now back with the branch trying to collect a distribution that went back into the checking account because of all the delays. Last I heard a rep there was to talk with his manager about it. That was a week ago. We are now over three months trying to close these two accounts. It is emotionally draining to keep revisiting this and going around and around because Regions Bank can't get out of its own way. All the other financial institutions I've dealt with on the estate were able to resolve this efficiently, but Regions acts like they've never encountered this situation before. We don't have Regions Bank where I live, but if we did I certainly wouldn't trust them with my money. Who knows when I'd ever see it again.Update 12-28-2022:Don't be fooled by the canned corporate response I received to this review. I did provide my contact information and received a call on 12-21 from a person in media affairs with no authority to solve problems. Since then nothing. I am just trying to close a simple checking account, and I have provided the information. Unbelievable.

Worst customer service imagined especially when you’re already dealing with a crisis situation. My entire wallet was lost in the river over the weekend. Already bad enough I had to wait an extra day without any access to my money because of the holiday to go inside with all of the ID’s I could find at home and be denied a debit card or access to my own money. I attempted to get a new drivers license first but they don’t accept cards and I didn’t have any cash and she also requested a social security card of which you also need cash to get. I go into this branch to obtain a rapid debit card or withdraw some cash and in short was cut off from explaining my situation. People like Nick Patel who had the power to help me, will cause Regions to lose customers. At certain points he said to me “if you would be quiet and listen” and “you can leave”. Sad part is I went to another branch right down the road and walked out with a debit card after explaining the same situation and handing over the same 5 other cards all with my name and/or picture on them. The way I see it, he didn’t want to help me anyway. By the way, I have not only a checking account but savings and mortgage with Regions. I’ve already made the call to see what my options are with moving my assets away from Regions.

Miss handling of funds, can't find your money nor will they ask the fraud dept to be in involved in any manner.Teller fired, Daniel transfered to another branch, New manager says he knows nothing and still will Not involve the fraud dept. Nick, I think this maybe his name at the same bank on 280 & Valleydale....Regions used to be a great place to do business with but not anymore.Miss handling & missing funds and none of them care. They are one time weren't paying my bills on time and causing me late fees, now to pay your bills on certain days they want you to pay and extra fee !This has gone on for maybe a year.I'm closing everything with Regions down !!

I came into deposit a check as cash just now in the woman behind the counter said that there's nothing they can do to put it in my account since I don't have at least that amount in my account. I've been doing this for 10 years from the company I work for at regions Bank and they'll usually just get a manager to get an override but she said that wasn't an option until I said every other regions does it and then she said I could wait for the manager to get an override. I don't know what is with the girl teller with the lipstick behind the counter right now but I will never come back to this region's Bank I was very polite to her and she said there's nothing that could be done.

Went to make a deposit of wrapped coins and 3 checks.Single teller told me I had to wait for her to finish hand counting a gallon bag of quarters. And when I asked how long that might take I was told it'd go faster if she could concentrate. Second lady takes my deposit out of sight. Returns and hand me the empty box with deposit slips. Makes no comment. I thought I had $100 in coins, deposit was for $94. Simply won't use this branch again. They were rude.

Not friendly at all. Customer service is not a thing here. I went in to ask about notary service, and mentioned I was a Chase Bank customer and was new to the area so was also looking for a local bank. The lady advised me, rudely, that "you can't just join to get notary services". I said I was interested in opening an account with a local bank, and she said absolutely nothing. I wished her a great day and told her I'd take my two business accounts and personal account somewhere else.

The absolute worst customer service! The associates at this branch are not helpful in the least. They act like they are doing you a favor when they give basic customer service. I had to make an appointment at the Five Points South Branch because at that location the associates were actually going out of their way to help me with the PPP loan issues. I couldn't find the Inverness local branch number without going through the 1-800 number. Why is that? Ridiculous.

They need NICER people especially at the drive thru!!! They seem to care less and have attitudes. BE THANKFUL YOU HAVE A JOB REGIONS EMPLOYEES! SOME PEOPLE DON'T HAVE A JOB AND WANT ONE! Not going to make the effort to go to this location. Not worth the hassle. I'll go to a Regions branch who CARES!
