An arbitrary hold was placed on a deposit tomy account and when I asked the gentleman to research the deposit in question, he preceded to tell me they had never seen a check from the issuer on my account. I pressed him to research further and he discovered similar deposits from the same issuer within the last year for similar amounts. His only reply was, ‘that’s odd’ … and went on to say the ‘case-by-case’ hold and ‘the exception’ wouldn’t be removed… He assured me that I would here from someone shortly but it is currently 3pm cst on a Friday at the beginning of a long holiday weekend… I don’t have any confidence in any satisfactory resolution. I’ve been a loyal customer for decades and hate being mistreated!

Was treated like I (22 year old woman) am stupid.I simply needed to re-open my savings account, but before I could do that apparently two men felt the need to berate me and push me to get a second checking account. I was discussing it with the man I had set up the meeting with, and after telling him no someone came out of their cubicle from across the office to interrupt us. He told me word for word ‘don’t call me crying asking for us to wave withdrawal fees’. This had me almost SPEECHLESS. I had already told him I understood these fees and was using them as a deterrent as I shouldn’t be pulling money from this account anyway. After telling them no THREE TIMES, I was laughed at.I then had a somewhat pleasant conversation with the gentleman originally helping me out and he took care of what I needed, but overall it was a very poor experience. I would have liked to have asked further questions but was so incredibly uncomfortable. Next time I will be going out of my way to find another branch, and someone to help me that will treat me like a person.

Great customer service! The minute I walked in I was welcomed. I was frazzled due to losing my card, but the lady assisted me in replacing a new one and canceling my old one. She turned a stressful situation into a calm one. I appreciate her positive attitude towards me, because I was honestly irate with myself. Thanks again!

Friday 12/27/19 1:30 pm. Sent deposit through drive through. Pressed call button multiple times. No one even said “be right with you” or any acknowledgement. After waiting 5-10 minutes went inside. Staff was rude!!! Don’t bank here.

Regions bank sucks. You can never get anyone on the phone. ??? like seriously get more customer service reps on the 1-800 number to answer the calls like Wells Fargo or other competitors. Wells Fargo are prompt in getting In touch with someone.

Absolutely the worst experience!!! I have had a Regions account for many years and I have never been treated this way. Went in to cash a check from my 401k and they refused to cash my check. They stated they could not verify the funds, even though I could contact my company and verify the check. The individuals I dealt with refused to speak to the them. They called "operations back office" and they said they could not cash or deposit my check into my account. I honestly felt like I was treated like a criminal. I was able to go to another branch in Alabaster, and worked with the Assistant Branch Manager, Nicole Robinson. She was amazing!! Not only were we in and out less than 20 minutes. She had no need to call anyone to verify my check. She was an absolute pleasure and made me feel like my business was worthy of being a member of Regions.

Customer Service here absolutely blows! They make you feel unwelcome and unwanted. I was simply trying to cash a work check for my company and was turned away because "they didn't know me" even though this branch is where I opened my account. I was forced to return to another branch several miles away. Great job Regions! Way to make an impact!
