I almost completely gave up on the work ethics of today, until I met Joe at iStorage on 280. We are of the old school of work ethics, Joe reminds me of when putting 100 💯 in anything you do was the minimum taught to us by our previous generation. In my opinion he makes the location on 280 one of the top storage units in Birmingham!! And from what I see I’m not the only one who appreciates his dedication to that location. Joe, you’re the best !! I appreciate everything you do for me and other tenants. Thank you for doing everything to make us feel safe and appreciated!👍👍👍

Great location, drive into storage facility to unload or load. Joe is very friendly and helpful. He explained what we needed to know (I.e. insurance) and helped us get situated.

My local experience was very good, However, I wasted a lot of time trying to find a space suitable for my RV. The National number caused me to waste a lot of time. Finally after being able to talk to Joe in a very short period of time, my problems were solved very quickly. To bad when you are reserving a space it is nearly impossible to contact the local storage lot folks directly. So, if you are reserving a space-suggest you visit the local office. Great experience from beginning to end. I had an emergent need for storage while my mom was in the hospital and again after she passed and the staff went above and beyond to get me the right size storage needed for each job. They even offered to assist with lifting when I had no help!
They also remember everyone by name! I don't know how many people come through that place daily but I will say in the year that I was using their facilities it was nothing but pleasant experiences and they always called me by name! Great place! & great staff!

Joe does an excellent job running this storage facility! He has been so helpful to me and my family, and he has gone above and beyond! I highly recommend iStorage! This air-conditioned building is so big, you can drive your moving truck into it, so you can move in an air-conditioned space!

iStorage is a strong 4.5 stars for me. It’s conveniently located on 280, but it’s tucked off the hwy in such a way that no one really knows it exists. ? There were several sizes to choose from; so I suggest you actually visit the facility. The buildings are clean and kept at a comfortable temp even while moving.
In this economy, I like it when a company shows that they appreciate my business. Joe, the office manager, gave me a tour of the facility and helped me find a spacious unit to fit my 3 bedroom apt at a very budget friendly price.
The coolest part was that you can actually DRIVE YOUR MOVING ? INTO THE BUILDING. This was huge time saver. Overall I felt really secure.
.5 deduction pertains to all storage facilities and the unexpected inflation of rent. Joe reassured me that they would let me know of any changes in advance. I got the first month rent for free; so this was still a win in my book.
iStorage gets ? money well spent.

Joe and Carlton are such an awesome team!! They really do listen to what you need and try to accommodate you with what they have! I forgot I asked them to be in the look out for a closer space for me and they called me a month later and said something came available! I honestly couldn’t believe they remembered. They really are some of the best in the industry! They are also super funny! Def reach out to them for your storage needs!

Carlton and Joe are great managers and very easy to work with. They always answer our many calls and go above and beyond to help us with our needs across multiple storage units. Highly recommend using this storage facility.

My experience at IStorage has been excellent. I got great advice and sound counsel from Carlton— which helped me to make wise decisions about how long to store. Carlton is super friendly, personable and caring. I appreciate his personality, his advice and professionalism. I feel real peace with my stuff at IStorage - it is a secured facility and the check points in and out are extra steps to kept my belongings safe.
