Bre was wonderful! She took time to teach me how to do curly hair. I developed curly hair after having a child and I didn’t know what to do with it. I’m very grateful for her extensive knowledge and experience. She also cut my hair for my head shape and type of curls! Thank you so much Bre!

Bre was incredible! She was so nice to me and my fiancé! She explained every step and even gave me the exact amount of product she used in sample cups! Bre was recommended to me by a friend of a friend after my curly hair stylist retired. She took the time to get to know me and my goals for my hair while sharing her curly hair story with me. I. Love. My. Haircut. I say this as someone who, up until going to Southern Curly Girls, hadn't gotten a professional haircut in 5 years because of so many bad experiences with people who say they know how to cut curly hair but don't actually know what they're doing. This place is the real deal. My hair looks amazing, I got care and styling tips that I can actually follow on a daily basis because they aren't ridiculously expensive or time consuming, and the length turned out the way I want it rather than the usual 2-4 months' worth of growth too short. I'm just thrilled. Worth every penny.

If you are still trying to figure out what to do with your frizzy messy waves or curls, or if any salon you’ve been to, cuts it like they would straight hair, go see Bre. I’ve had styling my waves figured out for the past couple of years, but wish I had had something like this when I thought straightening was my only option because my hair was just big and frizzy. I’m still so glad I found Bre now, because for the first time ever a stylist looked at my natural texture as something beautiful and enhanced it rather than controlling it. She cut my hair according to my curl pattern, thoroughly explained a new way of styling it, and saved me from the dreaded triangle head that I get when my hair is cut straight. 10/10 would recommend.Services: Haircut

I made an appointment with Bre because I was starting to suspect that my hair isn't actually straight. I went in for my texture consultation and she confirmed that there was definitely texture present. She had some time due to a cancelation and offered to do a curly routine on my hair to see what it would do. Through every step she explained what she was doing and why she was doing it. She weighed out the products she was using and sent me home with examples. She was super informative and worked very hard to set me up for success when I was at home trying to learn how to do it by myself. When she was finished my hair was full of beautiful waves. I highly recommend visiting Bre if you are on a curly hair journey.Service: Curly hair

Bre is amazing! She took the time to explain how to make my curly hair better and I even left with a list of items she used and the tool to ensure that I could do what she did at home. I have been living with curly hair for almost 35 years and bc of her I now know how to properly care for my hair. I would highly recommend her for anyone with curly hair. I love my curly cut! Bre brought my hair back to life. She listened to my concerns and goals. She explained what my hair needed, showed me how to style it, gave me product samples to try at home, and went over the full wash day and refresh routines. After I left the salon, she sent me clear instructions and photos of recommend products. It was a wonderful experience. I'm so glad I found Bre to coach me through loving my curls and caring for them properly.

I’m so thankful to have found Bre one day via a Google search — “curly hair expert”. I was beginning to get frustrated by my 5 year old daughters curly hair. For a while I had it under control but as she got older and it grew longer it became harder and harder to manage. Bre gave my daughter and I a crash course in curly hair care. She taught my daughter and I how to brush, wash, diffuse and style her hair. She was very knowledgeable in how to cut and style curly hair as she has it herself. She made my daughter feel special and included her as she was teaching me. She went above and beyond recommending products and a particular brush. Thanks to all Bre’s tips my daughters curls are in the best shape and are so much easier to style and manage each day. My daughter will be a client for life. Thanks again Bre!

I started letting my curly hair go natural about six months ago. Bre has taught me so much about how to care for my curls, what products to use, how to use them, and how to make the best of what I have. My hair has never looked healthier and I am finally loving my naturally curly hair!
