Stonegate has been the most disappointing apartment experience I’ve had. On move-in, I immediately found serious cleanliness and maintenance issues, including visible contamination/mold buildup in the toilet tank and other problems that should have been addressed before handing over keys.
It took constant follow-ups and over two weeks just to get the toilet replaced. I communicated repeatedly with Maddie, Chloe, and Megan, and the process was exhausting. I never felt my concerns were taken seriously until I hired a third-party mold inspector to document what was going on.
If you value a safe, properly maintained unit and responsive management, I would look elsewhere.
P.S: I also have asthma, which mold is a known trigger for. Even after repeatedly expressing this, they still have not acknowledged this.

I’ve been here for 2 years. I was excited to move in at first! But since new buyers has bought the property, there are new rules that shows no compassion to the tenants when it comes down to late payments! after a couple of days after rent is not paid, they will not allow you to pay online! They are quick to send text messages of threats to evict you! Their late fee is $150! The water and sewer is extremely high! Times has definitely changed when you are in an apartment and have to pay water and sewer bills! They still send you eviction notices even during government shutdowns! Like there is no compassion at all from them! This place overcharges for Everything! Like I said before no compassion! There is no way you should shut off the capability to pay online ! After 4 days of no pay , you start with the harassment ! Damn!

I absolutely love Maddie & Chloe! I’ve been staying at Stonegate for almost a 1 1/2 now and couldn’t have asked for a better team. They are always patient and polite. Anytime I need something or have questions, they are always willing to assist. Even with maintenance issues, they are always willing to assist and make sure I am supported the best way possible. Most importantly, my son loves them! Everyday he gets off the bus, it’s a must that he stops by to check in on them because they are so nice & sweet to him. To Maddie and Chloe, continue being the best!

Living at Stonegate has been such a peaceful experience since I moved in almost 2 years ago. The 1 bedroom floorplan that I am leasing is the perfect amount of space and feels just like home! Since DLH Properties has taken ownership, amenities have been improved, and the overall experience with new management has been smooth sailing. 10/10!!

This property is a hidden gem! So quiet, peaceful and luxurious. Maintenance team is great and very attentive, office staff is phenomenal and they really care about the community and their residents!

Today was my second time coming out to what i thought was to view an apt but only to be offered to see a video. Once I get there I was told we could go look at a Demo apt but it’s not actually like the apt I will be in. First Red flag !! Walking up to the DEMO APT THE AREAS LEADING UP TO THE DEMO WAS FILTHY!! Full of piles and piles of bird poop. If this is the area that you are showing possible tenants it needs to be clean and inviting. My thoughts are if u are not keeping that area clean I know the rest of the community is not being cared for , but looking at all the reviews i honestly see why. It’s a no thank you !!!

Called so many times to try and get information. Seems no one works there. Red flag is the complex doesn’t answer the phone. If you have an issue they for sure won’t help you

My experience living in this community has been increasingly unacceptable due to a long list of unresolved issues, lack of communication, and overall negligence.
1. Broken Entry Gate: The security gate has been broken for months, compromising the safety and security of residents.
2. Trash and Valet Issues: Dumpsters are frequently overflowing, and the valet trash service I am paying for is unreliable—trash is often not picked up at all.
3. No Pest Control: No pest control services have been provided since I moved in, despite this being a basic part of apartment maintenance.
4. Severe Roof Leak and Mold:
• A major ceiling leak began in January 2025. While a roofing company was supposedly called, the issue was not resolved—water continues to pool in the ceiling.
• I have reported this repeatedly, only to be told that the cause “cannot be pinpointed” and that the leak is due to “Mother Nature.”
• Mold has now developed, and I am experiencing worsening health symptoms as a result.
• Despite reaching out to multiple staff members—Maegan Radford, Madison Propst , Daniel Black—and even the Asset Living corporate team, I have received no meaningful response or resolution.

• A maintenance worker entered my apartment while I was away and used my personal restroom, leaving the toilet seat up and candy wrappers on my counters.
• I reported this and received no follow-up or apology.
• It is deeply concerning that maintenance staff are hired through a temp service and appear untrained and unsupervised.

• In past years, the community was infested with rats, and now stray animals roam freely around the property.
• Dog waste is constantly left on the grounds.
• Breezeways are filthy and have never been pressure washed or properly cleaned during my lease.
This property has failed to meet even the most basic standards of habitability and customer service.

Stonegate Apartments has been the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. When I moved in, the apartment was filthy. It clearly had not been cleaned—dust was everywhere, paint was splattered all over the floors, wood trim was broken, and the paint job was rushed and sloppy. My bathtub was covered in rust, the refrigerator’s storage door was broken, and the closet door in the living room doesn’t even work.
Even worse, the management is rude and completely unprofessional. When I brought up these issues, Chloe told me, “that’s not important right now.” That kind of disrespect is unacceptable, especially from someone responsible for managing the property.
I’ve now been here for five months, and I’m still waiting on maintenance to fix even the most basic problems. Despite multiple requests, nothing has been done. The office staff doesn’t follow up, doesn’t communicate, and clearly doesn’t care.
I cannot wait for my lease to be over. I would never recommend Stonegate Apartments to anyone. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place—it’s not worth the stress, the disrespect, or the money. I’ll add more photos in my next review.

Had a really great experience checking out Stonegate! Maddie was super helpful—she answered all my questions, made the whole process easy, and was just really great to talk to. You can tell she actually cares about helping people, which made a huge difference. If you’re looking for a place, definitely reach out to her!
