I’d been researching dog training for some time when I came across The Barking Zone. Most training was for two weeks or longer and a bit more than I wanted to gamble on. Our Black Lab “Buddy” was out of control at home. Jumping on people, always in a rush, not minding commands at all. The difference after one week is incredible. A much calmer, disciplined dog he is! I don't know what we were thinking when we adopted two puppies from the same litter, who both grew to be over 50 pounds. I was heartbroken over the loss of my beloved Pepper who hardly needed any training and was the best angel dog. Anyway, fast forward to 59# Lulu and her 63# brother Levi, who had gotten beyond our control with barking, jumping, chewing, and separation anxiety. We knew from boarding our daughter's dog with Rick at Barking Zone 4+ years ago that it was going to be the best solution for these siblings. At 15 months old, we knew it was the optimal time for them to take the remote collar board and train party. Sooner might have been better, but we were able to combine their boarding with our vacation. Rick and his head trainer posted daily updates on instagram and Facebook so we could see their progress. When we got home, these dogs were obedient and so much calmer, still remaining loving and sweet. Some people worry that prong and education collar training will crush a dog's spirit, but don't - Rick and crew know what they are doing! Lulu and Levi are happy and healthy, loving as always, and we are continuing to reinforce what they learned to keep them calm and obedient. We highly recommend The Barking Zone! Thanks Rick!!

Our dog Tahla attends Barking Zone and I would just like to say we love it and she loves it. The people there are absolutely amazing and respectful. They love Tahla so much. Payton comes out behind the reception desk and greets her every time, along with another girl who is newer. This lets me know my Tahla is loved.I truly appreciate Aidyn. He and Tahla have a special bond that is so sweet. I feel safe leaving my baby here because I know he will take care of her no matter what, along with James and Ashton. I can tell all three of them are animal lovers and can handle my Tahla’s rambunctious, yet loving, behavior. Thank you all so much! I truly appreciate what y’all do for our baby girl. Keep up the great work guys! Y’all are amazing.

Our goldendoodle, Sally, did a week long board and train. She responded really well to the strategies and we got training session when she was finished and a nice training package and book to take home to follow up her training. Thanks so much!

Rick is so awesome! I did day and train and e-collar training with my wild golden Buster. His training techniques has definitely made a difference in our household and I am so thankful. Not sure what took me so long to reach out but I def recommend him 100%!

Upon recommendation from our friends, we had our two dogs, Duke and Bentley, do a week long board and train with Rick and his staff at The Barking Zone. Both our dogs were big time pullers on walks and weren't the best at following commands at home. After a week, we were able to pick up Bentley, but Rick suggested a few more days for Duke and for him to get a remote collar. Rick was great at both of the pick up sessions for our dogs. He showed us how to do everything and then watched and helped us do the commands with the dogs to make sure we had them down. We could not be happier with the results we have seen from their training.

We did the day and train program and loved it. Rick does a great job and our puppy really responded well to his methods. The doggy daycare is great too and we plan to take our puppy there at least once a week for socialization.

Rick and his team are completely awesome! After a week of training our golden doodle Bart Starr is a new dog! Common sense approach to training that really made a difference in a very short time. Can’t say enough about Rick and his program!

Rick and his team's knowledge of dogs' behavior is extensive, his ability to relay that knowledge onto me was exceptional. Rick guided me and continues to guide me through the training and explains how we should progress through daily maintenance. He's given me the discipline and confidence that I need to work with Luna. The Barking Zone is the perfect combination of knowledge, professionalism, and kindness to both the animals and owners. I give them the highest recommendation possible!

My dog Moose was terrible on a walk and barked at every new person that came to my house. I decided to try the two week board and train program after hearing great things about The Barking Zone from coworkers. It's been great! I finally feel like I have the methods and tools to have the relationship with my dog that I want. He's much calmer and has improved significantly on walks. Also, the place command has been a game changer. Rick has been so helpful. He checks in and continues to provide help with techniques that we've had trouble with at home. I know he wants my dog to succeed. I highly recommend The Barking Zone! Thanks Rick!

We have been so impressed with how well Millie is responding to her training with the BZ!!!! She is still the same, sweet puppy- just a sweet puppy with more manners!! Definitely recommend the BZ!!!
