My husband had an 8:30am appointment for a hitch to be installed. He prepaid and pre-ordered the parts weeks in advance. He was told it would take two hours. He has been stuck there for NINE HOURS AND COUNTING. First we called customer service and they figured out that they don’t even have the part we ordered. Then the GM finds a different part he can use. This was at NOON. It is nearly 6pm. My husband went out there and asked if HE could help moves things along and they basically told him they didn’t know what they were doing. He told them to just put the car back together so he can leave and do it himself. $600+ and over NINE HOURS AND COUNTING LATER, and he’s leaving without the service he paid for. This is absolutely unbelievable.

I reserved this U-Haul a month in advance to give myself enough time to make certain we had it, as we were moving three states away. My father and I went to pick it up on the day we reserved it and the workers in center point Alabama location had very poor attitude on top of adding an extra day that was not asked for, unbeknownst to us, thus charging us almost $100 more than initially expected and when asked about the price change from the “due at time of pickup” on the quote was just told “that price can go up or down”. Upon departure the contract showed 3 days, upon return it had been changed to 4 days without our consent or knowledge. Even though we returned in time (Monday June second in the morning) our rental agreement now shows we returned equipment on Tuesday June third in the afternoon. It took the workers in the Nineveh Indiana location until today (June fifth) to even show that the equipment was dropped off and checked in. Very lazy workers, with little knowledge about their own company’s processes! I am extremely displeased with the entire process from start to finish. We will not be using U-Haul again in the future. As a first time customer I am astonished that this is how I was treated.

Though there weren’t any 10 ft or 15 ft available , I must say that Jamarcus at the centerpoint location did his best to make sure I found something , until I informed him , I didn’t need a 20 ft ( I am only moving out of a small office location ) , I had previously called the Eastlake location and though they were nice l did not receive the level of outstanding customer services as centerpoint so I definitely wanted it to be noted his professional attitude and his outstanding customer service . If you are reading this and want the best outcome Centerpoint is the location !

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Scheduled an appointment for a hitch installation at 3PM on 5/15/25. After making me wait over an hour, they told me at 4:30PM they couldn’t do the job and asked to reschedule for the next morning at 9AM. I explained I live an hour away, had to leave work early, and would now have to send a paid employee to cover it. They promised it wouldn’t be an issue. This came from the general manager.
The next day, I sent my guy—on the clock, as agreed—and they turned him away, saying they couldn’t do it and that he didn’t have enough time. Unbelievable. Zero regard for people’s time, schedules, or professionalism. Completely unreliable and unorganized. Don’t waste your time or money here

very unprofessional. had a reservation scheduled and nobody was at the office, couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone, and ended up having to go to a completely different company to be helped after we waited on someone to show up for 30 minutes. would not recommend to anyone in need of a rental.

The rating is vey fitting. Some of the staff was great but the overall experience was a 0/10. They gave us a truck with no transmission fluid. The mirrors are cracked on the trucks. The list goes on and on. Dominique the manager is very unprofessional and unhelpful. Never use this location

Stood in line for over 30 minutes to buy moving supplies. One employee left to go get food and the other walked outside to help another customer who interrupted the line to ask a question. Left and went to Lowe's.
