Worst customer service ever.She called me every hour ask when I’m going bring the Truck back , she make feel I stole truck instead I rent it .And they charge me 296 for two days.I recommend everybody never ever go to this location.

Very very shady practices do not use any Uhaul for a truck rental . Once you rent they can and will find ways to charge you more and be as big of an inconvenience as possible

Worst customer service ever it's in a conscience store that's in the restuarant .. no one to be found no one spoke English well literally took over an hour to get me a car tower that I booked online and pre checked in online will never pic this location ever again

As a frequent U-Haul customer and a Birmingham resident, I feel it is unfortunate to have a company judged by a single comment, especially one in which the local franchise owners/staff were trying to assist with honest information about the area. I am very familiar with this franchise specific location, and the local staff was correct. If you leave ANYTHING outside over night, the local Mexican population will steal it or break into it. That is NOT being racist, it is simply a fact. I am sure the customer experienced the frustration of the staff having to inform them of such a fact and the frustration of having a business in a part of town that is continuing to degrade. I imagine the customer would in-fact be much more upset if the local staff had neglected to inform them of the potential threat to their items and just let the theft occur and then shrugged when it happened and told them they should have bought extra insurance. Hmmm...maybe they should stop being truthful and sell extra insurance and become profitable instead of attempting to help naive customers with serious attitude issues.

I could never reach them on the phone about my reservation. I attempted multiple times a week before this reservation date to contact the location. Their phones were never answered. Also, I would recommend customer service training for the owners/staff of the location. When I picked up the trailer, the co-owner at the location informed us that the Mexicans next to the location would steal everything if we left it in the drop off area in front. I certainly hope this racism does not reflect U-haul's opinions. The owners and staff at this location should realize that just because I myself am not a minority, it does not mean I want to hear their racist rants. If I had not already organized my move, I would have paid the $50 fee to cancel the reservation and taken my business to a another company that does not offer racist commentary of their neighborhood. When the trailer was returned, the female co-owner rudely informed us that we had to wait for her to find another location to return the trailer, despite our contract stating we would return it to this location. This wasted 45 minutes of our time for her to realize we were at the correct location. She still tried to force us to take it to another location because "she did not have room". We had to argue with her to get her to agree to take the trailer at that location like the contract stated. From this experience, I will NEVER use your service again.
