About UAB Campus Green

UAB Campus Green is a spacious, well-maintained, and clean park in the middle of UAB’s campus. It is a laid-back place for students and staff to enjoy nice weather, with beautiful seasonal flower arrangements and a great view. People go there for beautiful walks, to play casual sports, have picnics on benches, and set up booths for club activities. The grounds also host celebrations and events where groups meet to share stories and encouragement. It is dog-friendly, asking owners to pick up after their pets. Toilets are located inside nearby student buildings.

    Nice outdoor space on campus with lots of amenities.

    Had an amazing time airbrushing hats for the UAB Students at the Annual Crawfish Festival & Fair

    It was a nice campus green but there was always a lot of construction going on around it and nearby so it was never really all that relaxing of a place to be in. The students were all friendly and it never felt unsafe.
