I’m not the type of person to leave reviews on things but I definitely don’t want another woman or any person for that matter to go through what I had to while working here. I made the managers aware that I’m pregnant in my first trimester and in the end it was completely used against me and I was 100% discriminated by the management for it. She was comparing me to how she was in her pregnancy and basically completely invalidating my feelings because as we know every pregnancy is different and every woman handles it differently. Not only that but I had so many issues with just the job in general but I won’t get into that. My overall point here though is if you’re pregnant they will not prioritize your health. They say they do but they don’t but god bless and I hope it’s found in their heart to learn from this and not treat anyone this way.

I placed an online order and when I go in to pick it up I was told an item wasn’t in store. I walked to the shelf and they had maybe at least 50 bottles. I was told they didn’t have it the previous night when I had placed my order, but I placed the order that same day. The line was extremely long so I asked if I could just pay where I picked my order up. Nope. Even though the person who packaged my order missed 50 bottles they wanted me to stand in line, that would’ve risen 30 plus minutes. Ordering and picking up was my way of avoiding that. A manager called from Alabaster and was rude (don’t know how she’s a manager, seriously) then another manager called to say “oh we’ll send you a gift card” that was 3 weeks ago. I normally shop in Atlanta, but I was in Birmingham. This company doesn’t care about customers and frankly I’m tired of spending money with companies who could care less about customers. I shop on a regular basis at Ulta, and I know I’m one of many, but I won’t be shopping with them anymore. The day of spending my money where I’m not itrested wi/ courtesy and respect is over with. I won’t contribute to companies getting rich and treating customers like trash. Not that you are Ulta, but you definitely lost a customer.

I ran into this location with only twenty minutes until close. The entire staff was pleasant and everyone appear to be busy handling their nightly tasks. Tovia, went the extra mile by showing me different types of blush, bronzers, and brushes. This young lady gave me excellent customer service and was very product knowledgeable. Tovia spoke on personal experiences and she was absolutely beautiful. Thanks Ulta for having such a welcoming staff.

I went in and walked right to the hair products. Walked up and down those aisles several times. No one ever even acknowledged that I was in the store, even though I obviously needed help. Boo hiss. I won’t be back

The staff was so helpful and friendly and took the time to help me find what I was looking for! After a horrible experience at Sephora it was so nice to be in an environment where I wasn’t made to feel stupid for asking questions. I will definitely be back!

This place is super good for people who wants to be on trend of skincare stuff for example drunk elephant they have it Ulta is basically a place that has makeup and skincare and other stuff like that and all kinds of trendy stuff that lots of verified creators use on TikTok I shop her a lot and alway has the stuff I'm looking for this store is way better then Sephora!

I went in to make sure there was no credit card opened in my name because I had received a hard inquiry credit alert. Two of the workers were very nice in helping. The third one was not, she immediately walked up stating they couldn't do anything about the credit inquiry. I know that, I am not d**** She had a not so pleasant attitude all together.

I was traveling through and stopped for a blowout. The original stylist I was booked with couldn’t take me, so I was passed to an available one, no big deal. Lauren is friendly, but I received the worst blowout I’ve ever gotten.1). She upcharged for a curl/flat iron style on top of the blowout. Per Ulta’s website a blowout includes; wash, dry, thermal style. I don’t know if this was a mistake or intentional, but I didn’t bother to look until I was at the register because I get blowouts 2x a week at my local Ulta, and it’s always $42 before tip. The manager fixed it, but still.2). I don’t know what she put in my hair, but when she said styling mousse for texture…it left my hair feeling like it was blow dried with shampoo still in it. I raked through my ends while in line and put it up in a clip to check out. I got to my car and went to rake through the whole length, and my scalp and upper hair are so sticky, it’s like why did I get a blowout. Immediately no, it’s getting washed at home ASAP.Overall, it was not a good service technically speaking. I get better blowouts at my local Ulta in the middle of nowhere Southeast Alabama.0/10 I do not recommend this stylist, unless you know exactly what you need in your hair before the service starts AND make sure you know what you are getting charged for. Hopefully she can improve on these things.
