They claim they are a family but truly are money hungry when people are disposable and just a number. Pay is not that great, work employees to death. Yes, overtime but no life just quarry life

I'm a former employee for Vulcan and they definitely do NOT treat employees like family. I have a large list of complaints against them, but my main complaint is that 2 years after my last day with them, they've kept me on their Blue Cross Blue Shield.I'm not receiving any benefits from it as I've gotten new insurance through a totally different company. However, I can't get any of my claims paid for by my insurance because Vulcan won't remove me from their insurance list and won't return any of the voicemails I've left asking them to do so. I have over $600 of unpaid medical bills piling up waiting for the HR department to do what they should've done 2 years ago.

The treat employees like family. This is not a place to work this is a place for a career
