I had a terrible experience at the Walgreens on Green Springs Highway in Birmingham, AL. There were about six people in line, and no one was up front assisting customers. Meanwhile, the pharmacy had plenty of staff, but no one seemed to be helping the overwhelmed employee who was struggling to find orders. It was disorganized, chaotic, and frustrating to watch. The whole experience felt like a mess, and the lack of customer service was unacceptable. I won’t be coming back if this is how they operate.

I’ve been here a few times now and just not impressed. The staff seem to be very unmotivated to work. When I went to pick up my online photo order, I waited for the staff to finish checking out the folks at the front register. She walked incredibly slow, dragging her feet, to come to the photo section. She then sling something across the counter, asking me if it’s mine. It wasn’t. I asked her if they also had my mousepad I had ordered.
She began half heartedly looking for it, as all the other customers came and got in line behind me. They didn’t have photo needs, but there was no other employees anywhere to check them out.
When the lady couldn’t find my mousepad, she called for help. A minute later four other employees came shuffling out of the back. Finally there was someone to help ring up the other folks.
The shift lead, Ken, helped look for my mousepad that showed as complete in their system. After several minutes he figured out what the issue was and showed me that they had printed the photo but had not transferred it to the pad. He said “give me about 5 minutes.” So I looked around the store and went back. He showed me the mousepad before packaging it, which I appreciated. He rang me up and the couple items I’d grabbed in the store. Not once did Ken or the other employee apologize for the inconvenience of their mistake and having to wait. I didn’t mind waiting and know mistakes happen, but they just don’t seem to care about the job they’re doing. I was there for 25 minutes for something that should’ve been a five minute pick up.
I may find another Walgreens or a whole different pharmacy for my photos printing needs, despite having this be the most convenient location for me.

I enjoy the atmosphere of Walgreens. The employees are all nice, wear a smile and assist you if you need it. I would recommend Walgreens for their pharmacy is clean and efficient with knowledge about the medicine they are giving you. They give you important information on your meds. I trust the pharmacist. And that's a big deal to me.
I don't understand how anyone does not like Walgreens pharmacy. They have been nothing but nice to me. Medicine is always accurate and the price is average.

I got overcharged for my items and the cashier was not able to give me my money back because the manager wasn’t there. The cashier that rung me up was no where to be found. The whole situation seemed sketchy.

TERRIBLE ATTITUDE from the staff. Listen, if you don’t give a shit about your job or want to work there, then quit instead of taking it out on paying customers. Wouldn’t hire these people for ANY customer related job.

With all these 1 stars the seriously need to think of getting new workers!!! They all lazy and she tried to stop me, and then the white customer she did stip, and basically assumed it was someone else then said oh nevermind!!! Don't bother shopping here lady is racist and won't let anyone use restrooms because they are too lazy!! This was at 8:15pm Dec 8th 2024.
What a sorry excuse for customer service!!! I will NEVER go shopping at this location!!!

Terrible Walgreens. Bathroom is closed because they are too lazy to unlock it. Prices didn't show up correctly. Employee obviously didn't want to be there. Will not be back

I asked for a 3 months supply because im going out the country and they said is going to be ready by Saturday a day before my flight and when I went to pick it up they said they don’t have them in stock

Do NOT use the Walgreens on Greensprings Hwy in Birmingham AL if you're in a tight. The restrooms have number code door locks and if you're in a rush, you gotta go find and tell a store associate to come there and punch the code in for you. That's if they come right away. Awful ?? I messed up my clothes waiting.

The pharmacy staff named Reen at this location is the worst. She has an attitude and carless about their customers. She playing phone when I’m there. When I say “Hello, excuse me”, she started throwing things in front of me. Very unprofessional and rude. Girl, quit your job if you don’t want to work!
