“Publix is always reliable. Best flowers for your dollar for the Mrs. And the food is legendary across the southeast. I never go for groceries because I prefer the lower prices at Walmart. But Publix offers great BOGO's and birthday freebies. Excellent service is always to be expected as well.”

410 Doug Baker Blvd, Hoover“Hello, My name is Prince Hardy and I'm writing this to inform the bakery managers Edmund Joseph and Michael Parish on how such a horrible experience turned into a wonder experience. On January 17,2024 I came into the Lee Branch location to order a special birthday cake. I showed the representative the picture of what I was wanting and they insured me that they could make something similar to what I showed them. At that time I set the cake to be picked up on Friday January 19th @ 4:00pm. January 19th comes and I running a little late due to work but I get to the store around 5:30pm. When I arrive I was greeted and the representative went back to get the cake. IT WAS 100% HORRIBLE. Another representative that was working in the back (now I know to be Emmiline) saw the expression on my face and came to assist. Emmiline looked at the cake and the first thing she said to me was "IM SORRY, DO YOU HAVE 10 MINS SO I CAN MAKE THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?" I told her yes and showed her exactly what I was wanting. Emmiline made the exact cake with the exact colors that I was wanting in literally 10 mins. Due to Emmiline's AMAZING customer service and wiliness stop what she was doing to fix an issue that could have ruined a birthday, I will definitely be back. THANK YOU!”

I didn’t even know pine berries were a thing and he let me try some and I’m now a fan! The fact that he took his time to get to know me and help me out really meant a lot! See ya again Rob for next week’s produce pickup!”

6219 Tattersall Blvd, Hoover“Super clean, well-organized, and friendly staff. The energy each staff member gives off is about the same, which is a bit unsettling, but besides that, there's lots of decent deals everywhere you look. The Publix generic brand groceries are also really tasty for a good price! I recommend their BBQ chips, they're really well seasoned.”

“Aldis is worth the 30 minute drive for the selection and savings on grocery items. Big difference in the total for a cart of groceries co.pared to other larger chain stores.”

“This is a great Publix for me to stop at when I am traveling and visiting my hometown. The employees are very nice and helpful, and the sub sandwiches were always really good. Since we have learned that Publix's bread and bakery uses bioengineered products, we have avoided buying this fake food, but it is still a good place to get out and stretch your legs and pick up some non-funky stuff if you know where to look.My only real complaint is that Publix needs to start using real ingredients in their prepared products, since you are already paying a premium for them anyways. Unfortunately, the leadership in Publix seems to grow more and more concerned with their personal profits each day than actually maintaining/growing the brand and name of Publix. Eventually people will catch on, and Publix will be nothing more than a more expensive Walmart Neighborhood Market.”
