“Seems like your basic convenient store, you know, snacks, drinks, gas, etc.. Although basic is not my personal description of Mac's.. Besides being local and very convenient, the people are amazing.. Now days, good customer service is rare, as rare as a silver dollar.. These people at Mac's are genuinely good people.. They can make you smile when you both are having a not so good day.. They go above and beyond to please their customers.. They are super friendly and work hard.. All in all, Mac's is convenient, has great prices, great customer service and a friendly environment.. I highly recommend Mac's Discount Store.”
“I come here with my husband, good deals on gas & liquor, husband buys cartons of cigarettes. Also sells snack foods like chips, jerky, Hostess, candy. Has a refrigerator with sandwiches, microwaveable meals, etc. you can buy soda here, but it’s a limited selection of Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew Dr Pepper in the 2 liters and 12 packs. Need more diet sodas. There is no shortage of booze, beer, some wine, mixers. Also carries Coast Guard uniforms, some clothing for males. Has hygiene items. Sells ammunition. Yeti Coolers & cups. Has products from Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works ( lotions, body sprays, hand soap, shower gel). Has some makeup by E.L.F. Sells propane, water, ice. Also sells MWR tickets for popular attractions and tourist destinations. Located next to The Coast Guard base and Arlington Park. Alabama National Guard directly across the street.”

“I only buy gas here. I've never been inside. But the gas is one of the cheapest stations in town. Plenty of pumps. Never had a problem finding an open pump.The bad - Sometimes it can be very difficult to pull out due to all the traffic.”
“Craving an ICEE or some of that "good ice"? Look no further than the Country Corner. It's super convenient for the residents that live near or on Kali Oka Rd. They have a little bit everything. They also FINALLY take cards. It's a 25 cent convenience fee but who cares when your in need of a "cold snack" or some gas. We love to frequent it on our golf cart or on our everyday drivers.”

“I've made this my go to place for fuel, being as they are the most competitive on the premium (93) grade, though I end up most times getting mid grade. This particular day, about a week ago, I stopped to fill up and as I'm taking pictures of the pump with my total sale on it, the new owner walked out and asked if there was a problem with the pump. I explained I was taking pics for Google reviews and the conversation began. R. J. is his name, he explained to me he had just purchased this location about 4 days before. We continued the conversation inside and I continued to take pics, as he did not mind at all, and he was telling me about all the changes and improvements coming soon, like within the following week! Lucky me to get there just in time to get the before pics (the ones I'm posting with this review)! Many improvements mentioned. I believe this establishment has been purchased by a truly professional person with a great vision for improvement and an eye for much better sales tactics! I was first impressed by him when he showed concern for me at the pump and was ready to address any issue I might have had immediately! That showed me how personable and caring he was as a person. He made time out of his busy day to talk to me and tell and show me all he had planned for the establishment. That alone showed me this was someone who cared about a business and wasn't just in it for the quick bucks! According to him, improvements should be quite visible by now. I'll need to stop in in the morning to top my tank off for a road trip, which, by the way, is not on my route and is kind of out of my way just for fuel, but certainly worth it! I'll never forget what a kind and giving man this is! I'll take new pics of any changes that have occurred and post them ASAP!! Keep up the great vision, R. J.!!”

“Great cheicken and fish. Thy have someone cooking most of the day it seems. No dry food sitting under a light. Great taste, probably one of the best tasting places for fried foods at a gas station.The price is also our standing for what you get and the taste. There will be a linch crowd mor than likely.The emplyees and manager were very nice and helpful. Great place for lunch. I would get there early or just after lunch or you may have to wait longer for food to be cooked.”
