Was totally professional and went out of her way to make sure that I got the right dog food for my puppy. She explained to me all of the manufacturers and which ones were excellent . Highly recommend this store. You have any questions asked for Katrina. The best customer service I've come across all year.. she knows what she's talking about..

The Pooch Palace
10323 US-31, HancevilleI have a 10 yr old male Maltizu. We started out w a puppy trim when he was firat able too. Stayed with them for sev months. Things happen and we've went couple more places and well ended up @ The Pooch Palace. And I couldn't be happier!! Very nice place, as well as any of the ladies I've talked too. Very friendly, thwy will work so well with me on the day and time to understanding things happen and such. Most importantly for me is Bama. Of corse he dont want a hair cut to start with but afterwards and when he gets back in my arms, he liking it. Lol. He's always good to go!!

1636 Main Avenue Southwest, CullmanThey are open until noon on Saturdays. My cat had a lump which had started growing rapidly on her side 😢 They squeezed me in that Saturday without complaint. Vet was very kind and a straight-shooter. She estimated my cat had about six months at the outside, as she'd seen this before. I couldn't let my baby suffer, so we decided to let her go 😭 They offer pet cremation with a third-party. Everyone there was sympathetic and helpful. I have switched my remaining cat to them.

I have personally experienced every person in this place more than once over the past year or so and they are great! Not only do they address your pets needs with care, urgency and skill they also care about me the pet owner. They worked with me on A systematic approach to my pups well-being that worked for me financially and more importantly Ziggy got his health back Quickly! I highly recommend him and his entire team! I would give them 10 stars if it would let me!

1636 Main Avenue Southwest, CullmanDr. Murphree and his whole team were amazing with us and our goat, Dottie. They were the first clinic open with a Vet at 730am to handle our emergency and they took our Dottie without hesitation. They loved her, treated her and educated us. They without a doubt showed her and us so much love and compassion. We are so very grateful that even though goats are not their specialty and even though we are not regular customers they did not turn us away. Forever grateful!

Berkeley Bob's Coffee House
304 1st Avenue Southeast, CullmanGrabbed caffeine for the drive back after lunching up the street at Busy Bee Cafe. I was definitely charmed by this local little shop. It's easy to miss from the outside, but totally worth a visit!
The inside is dimly lit, cool, and comfortable. It's not a huge space but arrayed such that one could easily have enough room between themselves and other patrons if privacy was desired. They have lots of super cute knick knacks and an impressive selection of teas. They also have a stage for open mic nights or small musical acts. Seems like a cool space to hang out!
Service was the best part. The woman who took my order welcomed me in, helped me select a beverage, and made polite conversation with me while she prepared my drink. She was just so warm, welcoming, affirming, and kind. I felt right at home.
Somewhat embarrassingly, I'm far enough removed from the experience that I don't remember exactly what I got. I asked the employee what her favorite specialty drink was and ordered that. In my head, I believe it was something involving cinnamon and white chocolate, but I'm not positive. At any rate, it was a solid drink. I do remember the white chocolate element having a slightly chemical-y aftertaste, which is unfortunately common with white chocolate syrups - or so I feel. Still, it was a solid enough drink that I liked. I'd like to try other menu offerings in the future if the opportunity arises.
Definitely recommend for lovely service and a positive environment!
