368 Capshaw Rd, MadisonI'm not sure how long I have been using The Green Barn, but we LOVE them (for grooming, daycare, and boarding)! They treat our puppies like they are their own. Our rescue dog never liked water, and struggles with other dogs sometimes. They had no issues with him. He played in the pools with all of the other dogs and made liars out of us. They are the only ones he lets clip his nails! Our dogs cannot hide their excitement when we pull up in the parking lot. THANK YOU for taking such care of Coco and John Stamos!

28669 Hardiman Rd, MadisonI have a 9-pound Cavapoo named Milo, and finding a groomer who could handle his needs has been a real challenge. Most places we’ve tried have had to stop his grooming appointment halfway through and ask me to come pick him up because of his behavior. Milo isn’t a fan of other dogs and can definitely be very vocal about it.
After so many difficult experiences, I eventually started cutting his hair myself at home. I’m certainly no professional, though, and I knew I needed to find a groomer who was experienced, patient, and willing to work with Milo rather than simply turn him away.
After doing a lot of research, I came across K9 Bath Body and Boarding. I called and explained Milo’s personality and his previous grooming experiences, and they were incredibly understanding. They made me feel confident that they would be able to accommodate him and give him the care he needed.
I gave Milo half a trazodone the night before and a whole one the morning of his appointment. When my daughter dropped him off, he was a little hesitant to get out of the car, but eventually he went in. And they were able to give him a fabulous haircut!
I am so thankful I found K9 Bath Body and Boarding. If you have a dog who struggles with anxiety, doesn’t do well around other dogs, or has been difficult for other groomers to handle, I highly recommend giving them a try. They were patient, understanding, and willing to work with Milo’s individual needs.
I’m so grateful we finally found a groomer who could handle my little guy and I’m sure Milo is pretty happy about it too! 🥰🐾

I was recommended to Dr. Alford by a friend whom I expressed concerns to with my dogs current care… and it was a BLESSING in disguise. I felt like Dr.Alford listened to me and actually cared about the well-being of my dog and her quality of life. He listened to me and could also see how miserable she was, something that was dismissed by the Drs at my prior vet unfortunately. He helped me with one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make. All of the staff was super kind and helpful and I am very appreciative and I will here on out recommend you to anyone I come into contact with and you guys will be future primary vet for the future. Thank you guys!

433 Slaughter Rd, MadisonI have a kitten who has seen five different vets, including going to a teaching hospital to be diagnosed. The kitten was diagnosed with a myriad of issues, but none of the vets thought the kitten might have a polyp and none of them listened when I said that I thought she might have one, or that she was built wrong because of her breeding (she is inbred as she was part of a large feral colony before being taken it). Dr Waite was very honest and said that he wasn't sure what she might have, but he was willing to check and do a nasal flush (something else we had asked for several times). The kitten had a URI, pneumonia, and two hard to treat bacterial infections, which were all likely caused by the polyp Dr Waite found. One of his techs found it (I didn't get the tech's name, but they were awesome for looking and finding the polyp). The kitten had a polyp that was in an unusual spot, and would never have been found if Dr Waite had not been willing to take a risk and look. The kitten has a partially collapsed lung, which is healing, but since the polyp was removed the kitten is breathing better, playing, eating, and being a regular kitten. The kitten still snores a little, and sniffles a little, but she is breathing so so so much better and my hopes are that she continues to improve! Thank you to Dr Waite and his team for helping save this little baby, and thank you to the tech who found the polyp in the first place!!!

4044 South, 4044 Sullivan St, MadisonI'm so thankful to have found this veterinary hospital. Dr. Magee fixed up my orange baby Cheeto and helped me sort out his gut health. Dr. Hayles did a thorough wellness visit for my new shelter baby Hendrix and a sick visit for Daisy Lynn. Dr. Nunnley got both Daisy Lynn and Hendrix fixed with with medications after they came back positive for infection. I cannot thank these Dr's enough for being so thorough with their exams. You can tell they truly care. I'd also like to give special thanks to the wonderful techs who delt with my game of 1000 questions and eased my worries about my babies. As well as the pharmacist and pharmacy techs for filling their medications so fast. I highly recommend this place for your veterinary care needs. Thank you Madison Animal Care Hospital!

Through a number of medical issues that Rex had over the years, Dr. David Alford and his caring staff were always attentive to Rex's (and our) needs and provided expert and empathetic care and advice that helped keep him safe and healthy. Then on April 3, 2024 Rex was severely mauled by a Doberman and his life hung in the balance. Dr. Rhonda Buxton, who was a recent addition to the Companion staff, immediately took charge of the situation. As Rex battled for his life, Dr. Buxton and the staff repeatedly worked on keeping him alive, comfortable, and stable in his recovery. When he took a turn for the worse and we made the difficult decision that it was time to lovingly say goodbye, Dr. Buxton helped ease him out of his pain. With my wife Nancy and I in attendance, we said our goodbyes to the little guy. Throughout the whole experience, the staff at Companion Animal Clinic was exceptionally empathetic and professional, making that period more bearable for Nancy and me. The birria tacos were outstanding and fried to perfection. The consomme’ was rich and worthy of sipping after the tacos were gone. The beef tacos, marinated pork, and chicken were on point as well. The speed of the food preparation and the presentation of the food were top notch! Also the salsa verde and pepper sauces provided a kick that complemented the flavor of the food. WELL DONE!!!!!!!!

Heaven was our waitress, and the food recommendations she made were absolutely spot on. I ordered the Delmonico ribeye, and it was one of the best steaks I've had. The service was so exceptional that I asked to speak with the manager, Nikki, to let her know what a great job her team is doing. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. I highly recommend dining here. We’ll definitely be back!

No less than three people other than our server came by our table to check on us throughout the evening. Our server was great and attentive without being annoying or aggressive. The food tasted great! It is pricy, but the serving sizes are decent; many other high-end restaurants charge a lot and have small servings. All around, great!
