“I am part of the 30% of the population who is allergic to chemicals. This hotel did NOT have an overwhelming smell when I walked in the door. ❤ Unfortunately, the cleaning staff sprayed something in the room- it took my breath when I walked in. I was able to open the door to the balcony and help air out the room some but every time we closed the door the smell was very strong. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars in that area. Hopefully management will see this comment and take strong chemical smells into consideration in the future.

This seems to be a little bit of an older hotel as the wallpaper on the 3rd floor was peeling in places. However, there was no smell of mold or any kind of scent trying to cover it up. They did have fans in the hallway.

Overall the hotel and room are clean and well kept. I will most likely stay again.

Kelli at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. She even recommended the Cajun-style restaurant a few minutes walk away. The waitress there gave us a 10% discount because we were hotel guests.

“Ok, hear me out… this hotel desperately needs a facelift. However, the nicest property manager I’ve ever met, Cynthia, told me it’s coming in a few more months. And while our room was a little old and rundown, she did it everything she could to accommodate us. She bent over backwards making sure our room was clean and had everything we needed. For that, I give them four stars. There was nothing she could have done better. The entire staff did everything right. They do everything they can to make up for the shortcomings of the hotel that are getting fixed very soon. The staff are wonderful and the experience and stay here was lovely. I am definitely coming back.”

The location is right where I need to be. I had a issue on my end with booking however Jason Terry ( I think that was his name) solved my issue got me booked and answered all of my questions. The customer service is why I always choose Hilton. I haven't encountered a single team member at any location that was not made positive impact on my stay.

I can't wait to experience this location next week.”

“The hotel served my needs. Breakfast was great. Service was excellent. The staff is cheerful, and helpful. When we checked in the fridge wouldn't close because the freezer was iced over. We couldn't get the TV to work either. We went out to get food and when we got back there was another fridge in the room. When I told the front desk clerk about the TV she came and fixed the problem right away.”

“This was a perfect overnight stop with clean simple rooms, a good price and a safe location. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They also accept pets which was much appreciated.”
