I’m super mad at Hertz Birmingham (airport location) as they scammed me. Telling me ‘you’ll get a free upgrade for the inconvenient (I waited in a line for my prepaid car almost an hour) and never sent me an actual receipt and I ended up paying 115$/day which is insane for 2 weeks duration. The SUV Kia Sportage was in a great shape and I loved, but the way it was given to me was very wrong. I tried to call them and corporate many times and no results. When I got a hold of them at Facebook page they said to go back to Birmingham location to fix it. It’s impossible as it’s over 3 hours drive from where we at. The guy at the Dothan location was friendly and apologetic, but his computer didn’t work (what???) and he promised to send us an email with a receipt. (Having à Deja vu here, as I was promised the same at Birmingham location)

Kayla is an outstanding employee! I was able to book a much needed one way rental to cat my international flight in ATL with only 48 hours to spare. She was informative, detailed, and top notch professional. Thank you once again Kayla and keep up the outstanding work!

Booked a rental weeks in advance, came to pick up my rental and they are closed. Didn’t receive a call or email regarding my rental or any warning that they would be closed. If I would have known they would be closing earlier, I would have made arrangements to come earlier or cancel within time. Also not sure why this airport rental services doesn’t have a self pick up and drop off to avoid this problem. Truly ruins my plan.

Kayla was extremely nice and very professional. I rent vehicles for my job all the time and she gave me the best service that I have experienced with any car rental company. Great experience at a small airport car rental office!!

I work at the FBO on the airfield and Hertz always brings the cars over to us on time. Kayla is the bomb dot com. Our company has no complaints.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is my 2nd time using Hertz at the airport in Dothan Al. I advised them I would be going to Michigan and I rented the car for almost 3 weeks. The car had a little over 6k when I departed Dothan Al. and a little over 7k miles when I reached my destination. As soon as I reached my destination the low oil warning light came on. I call Hertz and she stated that’s because they only change their oil every 10k miles to ignore the warning. I checked the oil and advised her there is no oil in the car. For there to be no oil in the car there must be a mechanical issue. She advised me I need to take it to get a oil change and they can reimburse me when I return and show them the receipt, due to me being out of town they can’t help me. Who rents a car for in town purposes!? Why am I responsible for their car!? I will not recommend going here!? I asked if something happens to the car what will they do, she stated there is nothing they can do, I need to figure out how to get the car back to Dothan.

Rented a car from here (today) for a week. I was headed to Orlando when the low tire pressure light came on. I had to stop 5 times to put air in the tire. I was 3 hours late and missed my reservations. I called the 24 hr emergency line 6 times and still didn’t get help. I had to put a doughnut on a rental car! Absolutely ridiculous! Hopefully I will be able to talk to a live person tomorrow. At this point they can come get it and refund my money! The first day of my family vacation has been ruined.

Always easy to reserve online and employees at the Hertz Dothan airport are great. I switch from Enterprise.

Rented a car for two days. Went to top it off before return. No fuel anywhere. Charged us $35 dollars for less than a quarter of full. Another company taking advantage of a crisis...…Must be run by Democrats. Never Again.

I had originally planned on using another company to rent an SUV only because I had used them before, and was booked for a compact car. I was in a huge bind and found what I needed from Hertz the day I needed it! The gentleman was courteous and very helpful!
