Dream Puppys
1422 Westgate Pkwy, DothanI can’t say enough good things about Dream Puppys. After loosing my sweet dog a few months ago I finally decided to get a new puppy. I went several times to the store holding and looking for the perfect new addition to our family. I was never rushed to pick and was told many times that I’d know when I found the right one. Everyone was so patient and helped me look to find the perfect girl for my family. She spent so much time looking and sending pictures and videos helping to make the wait easier. I was able to pick up my sweet cavapoo this week and she is absolutely everything I was looking for. Thank you so much Dream Puppys. I wish I could give you more than 5 stars.

Unleashed Pet Spa
376 Westgate Parkway, DothanWe've been taking our little Lizzi to Unleashed Pet Spa for about a year and a half, I think. They are great. Lizzi is an 11 year old female Shih Tzu. They really love pets there. The young lady at the front desk will greet you a welcoming smile and when she takes your pet back to the groomer she's talking to your pet all the way. Our groomer is Alyssa and she's awesome. Lizzi has never looked as good as she does when Alyssa is finished with her and they are very fast and reasonably priced. I wished we would have found Unleashed Pet Spa and Alyssa a long time ago.

Dothan Animal Hospital
1846 South Oates Street, Dothan⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I wasn’t even a client of this office. I was on my way to my regular vet when I found myself in a situation with my cat that had become overwhelming and honestly frightening. I called this office from their parking lot, crying and asking if someone could please help me.
Without hesitation, one of their staff members came outside with a carrier and helped me when she absolutely did not have to. She was calm, kind, compassionate, and exactly the person I needed in that moment. I genuinely don’t know how I would have gotten through that situation without her.
I went back today with a small thank-you gift, and when she told me, “You didn’t have to do this,” my response was, “No, YOU didn’t have to.” That is exactly why I wanted to leave this review.
While we were talking, a man suddenly came through the door asking for help because he thought his dog was dying. Before my eyes, she immediately jumped into action to help him—just as she had done for me.
I can’t speak from experience about being a regular client here, but I can speak about the incredible kindness and compassion I received from this particular member of their staff. She helped a scared stranger in a parking lot simply because I needed help. I will never forget what she did for me.
Five stars doesn’t feel like enough for the kindness she showed me. ❤️

South Park Veterinary Clinic
7018 South Park Avenue, DothanSouth Park Vet is the very definition of a down home Vet! Their service and care are second to none. They serve all sorts of animals, but I use them exclusively for my dogs and cats. What I love best is that they are very up front about the options and price for any care that is needed. They do not up sell and are extremely honest about what care they reccomend and will go with whatever you choose. They are by far the most affordable vet in the area, however their services are absolutely top quality! I will not take my animals anywhere else!

Mission of Mercy Vet Clinic
3505 Montgomery Highway Ste 5, DothanWhile strikingly beautiful, color point cats are medically complex. They get their cool colors from a genetic mutation that causes the cooler parts of their bodies to have darker fur. The mutation has something to do with tyrosinase and it impacts their dopamine system which makes them prone to stress and dementia.
My guy has Feline Idiopathic Cystits which is usually caused by stress for him. Yesterday, Dr. Tucker found that he also has stomatitis which his kind are apparently predisposed to. Frank hit the genetic lottery.
Earlier this week, my geriatric Chihuahua had to be seen. He's developed allergies and the poor, little guy was covered in lesions. He's feeling much better now.
When it rains it pours. My vehicle is inoperable at the time. I drive for work and have been in a rental while waiting for a part for my annoying German car. Dr. Tucker kindly kept the care of my cat within my budget.
I cannot say enough good things about this clinic and Dr. Tucker's knowledge of what ails our pets.

I used to think Publix chocolate cakes were good until i bought a piece of this cake. It was the most rich, moist, and decadent cake. It was perfect. This piece of cake didn't stand a chance. The Blue Plate
3850 W Main St Ste 300, DothanThe menu is not extensive, but also not expensive. On a given Sunday morning expect to wait a spell, but the wait was worth it. Despite the fact that I was alone I was not overlooked. What I ordered was served rather quickly ( despite the full house ) and accurately. I am a hardy eater yet found myself bringing home enough for the next day, I was quite pleased.

Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q
3320 Montgomery Highway, DothanIt was very good food. The barbecue flavor was pleasant. The portions were small for the price. Its an order at the counter walk up situation. They serve you at the table by number. Overall, good food, but due to the price per portion size, i most likely wont return. I can have a Steak at the Roadhouse for the same pricing. The Atmosphere is decent. Restaurant was clean.
