12303 US-231, TroyDr. Barron and his staff accepted our animal in on a Sunday due to an emergency. After 5 weeks of treatment, our animal was able to return home to finish his recover with his family. The staff practically adopted our pet for 5 weeks and loved and cared for him while he was there. Every staff member was professional, empathetic, and truly showed a genuine care for our animal. Hands down, the best Vet and staff!

Pike Animal Hospital
162 Enzor Rd, TroyWe moved to Troy back in 2022 and have used this vet ever since. Pike AH have always taken such good care of our animals. Sadly we lost our sweet Stella over the weekend of kidney failure, and they did everything they could for our sweet girl. They were in touch with us throughout the weekend which I really appreciated under the circumstances. My dogs have been boarded there multiple times, taken for vet care, shots, etc and they have always been outstanding there. If you are looking to take your fur babies to a vet, I would recommend them every time. They truly care about your animals there. Thank you PAH for taking such good care of our animals.

From the very first day I reached out to inquire about a puppy, Alyson was incredibly responsive, patient, and thorough. She answered every question we had and made sure we knew exactly what to expect throughout the entire process.
One of our favorite parts was receiving weekly videos of Tulie, complete with her current weight and clips of her playing. It made us feel connected to her long before she came home.
We were fortunate enough to meet Tulie at the kennel when she was 6 weeks old. We were only in Alabama for one day, and Alyson was kind enough to accommodate us by letting us visit on a Sunday. That meant so much to us and gave us confidence that we had found the right puppy and the right breeder.
Tulie flew from Alabama to Colorado, and the entire transportation process was seamless. Her flight nanny stayed with her in the cabin the entire trip, and she arrived with her health paperwork, a written schedule, and a blanket that smelled like her breeder and littermates, which made the transition much easier.
From the moment we picked her up, Tulie was calm, confident, and incredibly sweet. She slept in my arms for the entire two-hour drive home. She arrived healthy, well-socialized, and comfortable in new environments. She has an amazing temperament—she’s silly, relaxed, affectionate, and independent when appropriate. She was already comfortable in her crate and had a wonderful foundation of training. At just 10 weeks old, she knows her basic commands, is eager to learn, and has made life with a new puppy so much easier than we ever imagined.
Even after bringing Tulie home, Alyson has continued to be available whenever we’ve had questions. She responds quickly to texts and emails and genuinely cares about each puppy and the families they join.
The entire experience with Southland Goldens was smooth, professional, and full of care from beginning to end. We recommend Southland Goldens without hesitation to anyone looking for an English Cream Golden Retriever. We love our sweet Tulie, and when the time comes to add another Golden to our family, there’s no question we’ll be coming back to Southland Goldens
