“I can tell the older lady with a blonde/grey bob either hates her job or is just a miserable person. It doesn't matter how polite I am it's like she goes out of her way to be rude. This time I had my hand held out for the receipt, like most people do at any store and the woman deliberately lays the receipt down on the counter next to my hand. Then picks up her phone or something and starts doing something on it. Very rude”
“Me and my wife go here usually once a week just to browse. But we always end up spending at least 20 30 40 dollars. Because it got such a big selection of really great items. We're always finding something for our porch courtyard. They have a lot of solar-powered items like flowers, or windmills , or lanterns, and they run off the Sun and you can make your porch look fantastic like mine.”

“Only one person working on a holiday? I feel for the lady working today. She was stressed out, as anyone would be in that position, but she was still pleasant and polite. DG needs to step up and do something to make sure this doesn't happen again. This is how you lose good employees.”
“It usually has what I need I basically buy the same things every month there and spend $100. Everyone seems friendly enough most of the times the store has been put together well, however when it's a bad day there ITS A BAD DAY.... Over all it's good however I feel once they continue with the price hike I feel it may have to close the doors here in this small town. We won't count them gone just yet.”
“This Dollar General is different than any other I have been in. For starters, it has a self-checkout. It has a slightly different selection of merchandise than the other stores. It's fairly clean. The staff is very friendly. They always greet you when you enter. My only complaint I have about it would be the size of the aisles. They are barely big enough for one buggy, and I do mean barely! All in all, it's a nice new addition to the other FIVE Dollar stores we have in or around our city/town!”
“Out of the MANY DG's I've been to in Athens, this one is on its game! Rarely do I find boxes stacked up all over the place waiting to be unpacked for us to purchase and the cashier was on her game by checking my receipt before I left because I used self-checkout and had several items that were not in a bag, large items, and most importantly to me, I didn't have a single problem using the App! The app saves me lots of money! Once my sister showed me how to use it.... I can't not use it now ??! Good job N. Jefferson!! I literally drive by Three Dollar generals to get to get to yours & one is less than a mile from my house! Kudos to the manager ??? & the employees ???!!”
“The cashier was very polite as I walked in & said if I needed any help finding anything just ask. Most of the time at Dollar General, I have not been told that as I walked inside. Being that this particular DG is one I frequently visit, I was able to find everything fairly quickly. I do love to take a quick peak at all of the home decor items that are for year round & seasonal. Sometimes I can find the perfect little addition to a room in my home while I'm there.”

“Today was my first time visiting the Dollar General off Hwy 251 near Athens, and I had the pleasure of meeting Catherine and Elizabeth. They were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home—like I’d been shopping there for years. It’s rare to find that kind of warmth and customer service these days. The store was also clean and well-organized. I’ll definitely be back. Shout out to Catherine and Elizabeth for making my first visit a great one!

“They've completely redone the Dollar Market. It's full of the "this and that" kind of stuff that I can easily overspend on!! They still have they're grocery section. But it's still mostly empty most of the time. As usual.”
“My sister and I just had our 10-year anniversary there. I know you might think it's crazy but true love is true love and we truly love our Dollar General. it's one of our favorite stores to get everything we need for our trailer. it's looking real nice now.”

“This is our closest store so we really appreciate the fact that we can drive a few minutes and get most anything we really need. Things are a little bit higher at Dollar General for the name brand items than at WalMart, but you’re paying for the convenience. I’m really glad they recently remodeled and added the small fresh food section of fruits and vegetables also.”

“Store was clean and well stocked.I liked the way i was greeted when i came into the store. Prices were about right except for ear buds for phones. Very fragile easily broken. And cost way to much. I couldnt see giving over a dollar for them. Was charging 5$.....lol”
